3HB Guarana - All Inclusive

What a truly wonderful family holiday. The resort in fantastic, super clean always. So much selection on food and the oriental was delicious. Staff and entertainment team were brilliant. Our 5 year old loved the splash park and pirate park. Could not fault this place in any way. Will be returnig. Also thought the price was more than reasonable given it was half term. All of the guests were lovely too. Fab holiday all round. Thank you.

Just back from 5 days at the hotel, and what a great time we had. Food was excellent, best AI I have eaten at. Ala carte Oriental wasnt for me but wow the Mediterranean was something else. A must visit, in my opinion. Pools are cold, but I have encountered worse, once you are in its fine. Entertainment was good with a couple of bands brought in. The animation team never stopped, nor did the waiters, waitresses, cleaners, reception staff, would go back in a heartbeat. Hotel manager rang me on my birthday, a card was left and a bottle of champagne at dinner - really nice touch. Only downside was getting through passport control at Faro airport, the rest was fab.

Great location with lovely food in the main restaurant. Can’t comment on the bookable ones, as we never visited, due to been fully booked, but the variety in the main restaurant was different every day, it was a hard choose. The outdoor pool was freezing, but having read about this, we took the kids wetsuits, so they were able to cope. The beach, if you turn right out of the hotel and up, past another hotel and walk down the steps, was massive, with plenty of sands, so you weren’t on top of anyone. The beach cafe, did great coffees and the food did look good

We have just returned from an amazing family holiday at the 3HB Guarana. This was our first time in Portugal and it definitely won’t be our last. The 3HB Guarana was outstanding, we really couldn’t fault it. On approaching the hotel on the transfer coach it was evident how clean and stylish it was, and this continued throughout the whole hotel. The reception staff were all super friendly and helpful. During check in they explained all the facilities within the hotel. We stayed in the twin room plus which had loads of room and storage space. It also had a balcony for us to relax on when our daughter went to bed. All the restaurants had a varied selection of food that changed daily, and the snack bar also had lots of tasty treats! There was a Mediterranean and Asian themed restaurants that we booked via reception. The bar staff were lovely and the drinks were plentiful, the cocktails were my favourite! Our 5 year old daughter made use of the kids club and thoroughly enjoyed it! So much so she didn’t want to leave. A special thank you to Luena and Katarina who made her feel so welcome and remembered her by name at dinner time when we would see them on the way to restaurants. Every night at 8pm was the kids disco (which we attended every night) then the evening entertainment began. The entertainment was different each evening: magicians, bands, quiz etc. it was evident that the entertainment team work so hard each day. They are by the pools playing games, fitness classes, competitions etc through the day and then at night with their own performances. They really did make the holiday fun with lasting memories. The location is great too being a 5 minute walk to the beach and a short taxi ride to Albufeira. During our weeks stay I didn’t to hear a single complaint from any other guest. We certainly didn’t have any. Will definitely be back!

Best holiday I've ever been on and I was sad to leave, the hotel was very busy with it being half term but that didn't effect the quality of service, the food was delicious and sooo varied, we were amazed with how much choice there was. The kids loved the ice-cream and chocolate fountain, a variety of drinks were available all day long larger, wines, sangria and the usual fizzy drinks for children and fresh juices. There were slushies available too and the kids loved them. What struck me the most was how clean it is, cleaners work around the clock to keep it clean, the dining restaurant staff were very helpful and efficient and always friendly with the children. Empty glasses were cleared regularly. The only thing I would say is that although the hotel doesn't permit sunbed reservations via a towel drop first thing, they didn't enforce it which means some guests annoyingly put their towels out and then disappear for the morning. However there are plenty of sunbeds to choose from around the large children's pool on the second level. The splash park was great fun and the playground was too! The nighttime entertainment was great and the guys gave so much energy to keeping the little ones happy. There was even a candyfloss cart one evening. All in all we had an amazing time and the hotel was fantastic!! Very happy indeed.

Wow! We just got back from our first trip to Portugal and our first all inclusive holiday. Our son has a very restricted diet and team Guarana did an amazing job with the catering, even making him his own special mockails. Nothing was ever too much trouble. All of the restaurants served a good variety of food and there are snacks and drinks available all day when the main restaurants are closed. You can also arrange an early breakfast if your transfer home is before the restaurant opens. There’s plenty to do from 10.30am to 10.30pm as well so no chance of getting bored whatever age you are. The whole resort was clean, friendly and very efficient in every way. It really would be hard to beat as a perfect family holiday. I’ve never been so sad to come home and we’ll definitely be back. If you go, make sure you go to Falesia / Pine Cliffs Beach which is a 5 - 10 minute walk away. You wouldn’t know it was there if you didn’t explore but it’s a real gem and you could easily spend the day there if you wanted a change of scene.

What's not to love, a weekend break to this hotel was amazing especially the oriental/sushi restaurant. Fab pool areas and very friendly staff made our break one we won't forget in a hurry and hope to return. The crazy show was one to remember with some very funny sketches.

My wife and I went for a holiday for our anniversary at this beautiful hotel and I must say we were blown away by the super hospitality from all we met here. My wife is vegan and the time and care the restauants took to ensure her dietary requirements was fabulous.
