Retro decor meaning old school everything is up some stairs so if you struggle constantly going upstairs forget it. Beach is 5 min away down lots n lots of stairs. Marina is beautiful but a good 15 min walk down lots of steep roads you can get a toktok for 10 euros hotel food is very basic there is a supermarket 2 min from hotel is amazing beer in hotel 3.50 in supermarket 85p omg 😲 there are some lovely restaurants within 15 min walk downhill 😀 place keeps you fit. The air con in the room is pointless 😒 there are ants on balcony forget it. There's a noise in the bathroom goes of every minute reception says there isn't 🙄 water didn't drain for a long time then it smells reception are you sure. 😉 mattress in room was sloping so if you turned over you fell out 🤣 Pool area water colddddd so is the sea 🌊 Lots of flies around the pool got lots of bites ? Would not recommend needs a total referb

Perfection !! Our stay in this beautiful hotel was perfection due to the exceptional service of the personnel at the reception, housekeeping and breakfast staff. Would definitely recommend, view from our penthouse was breathtaking, breakfast was sumptuous and hotel so close to town! Uber from downtown was only 3euros for the times we didn’t feel like walking !

What a lovely hotel and a credit to all the hard working staff lovely location for town centre and the harbour the views from our room was amazing. we stayed bed and breakfast which was lovely fresh bread amazing. Would stay again thankyou Boa vista

We’ve had a brilliant visit to Albufeira staying at the Boa Vista hotel and spa. I was a bit worried as I booked then read reviews on here for the hotel and they weren’t the best. I am wondering whether it is a different experience staying here “in season”, but out of season in March it’s been lovely. We were lucky with the weather too which was a bonus! An easy stroll into the town, far enough away from the Main Street of clubs and bars. There is a supermarket at the end of the road which is really handy. We had a hair dryer in our room, but we paid to upgrade to a more spacious room. I’m not sure if the other rooms don’t offer a hair dryer. There wasn’t tea or coffee making facilities which we’d already read and came prepared with a travel kettle which we were glad of. Breakfast was beautiful 10/10. Cooked breakfast and continental options. The bread was fresh and delicious every day. You can even have a glass of sparkling wine if you wish! We would certainly visit again and we’re very pleased with our stay.

Hotel is located in old town. 5 minutes walk to town centre where there are beautiful restaurants and plenty of bars etc. Beach is very near also. Hotel is on a hill, so be prepared to walk some hills and steps to hotel. Then when you go the other direction 15 min walk, you have the marina. Again, beautiful spot, activities and excursions, you can book there, plus lovely restaurants and Jacks Irish Bar/restaurant. Hotel Breakfast was nice, Hotel was spotless clean. Rooms cleaned daily. No entertainment in the evening, but maybe this is because it's a bit early yet, not sure about that. Area is quiet and felt very safe .
