The location is great, however there is party going on every day until 11, which makes it impossible to rest before 11. We also found lice in the room.

Perfect location if you’re looking to stay near the beach. Walking distance to Albufeira city center, around 15 minutes. The bathroom needs a renovation but it’s a 3 star hotel. The bed is very comfortable. The air conditioning was perfect! Our room had a very nice terrace , with a beach view.

Be aware, this hotel has 260 rooms and the bar and entertainment area has one shared toilet. The location and hotel are good, the food is very good. The staff are rude and do not accept they have issues with lack of toilets. No glass to drink from, always paper cups and they reluctantly give you plastic in the evening. I would stay well clear of this place.

Stayed here for a week as a couple but also as part of a larger group for part of stay. I’ve given the review 4 but would probably say more 3.5 if I could on rating . For a 3 star hotel it’s ok . People who leave bad reviews must think they are in a 4 star hotel for a 3 star price . Reception on check in was quick . The staff were ok . You are allocated time slot for restaurant . We were given earlier sitting but changed with no problems to late sitting . Although in reality the allocated times did not seen to matter Room - we were in m2 block . The room was large . Dated but clean . Large balcony sea view . Didn’t use tv but it had one . You can get a kettle from reception easily . Bathroom again dated but got hot water and good shower . You can get a safe key can’t remember cost but ok . Negatives. No drawer space . No shelf in bathroom to put things on . Noise from room above too lAsk for top floor . Cleaned every day . It was ok . Remember it’s a 3 star Pool - lots of sunbeds Drinks ok vodka slushes available Snacks okay pizza sandwiches wraps toasties . Negative toilet area yuck - Needs some work on it . A lock on one of the toilet doors would be good and not that expensive . Good access to beach . Restaurant- I thought the food was good . it depends on how fussy you are . Never went and could not eat anything . Breakfast good selection cereal yogurt fruit bacon fried eggs Lunch salads, fresh fish, meats . Evening meal again I felt good selection . If you’re looking for traditional English grub then you would probably struggle . I thought for what we paid food was very good . But that’s my opinion I love fish so was good for me . No late checkout but they do give you a voucher for lunch . As checkout is at 12 and that all inclusive band comes off as soon as you check out .

Location was perfect between old and new town and right on the beach front. Food was pretty decent for an all inclusive place so didn’t eat out too much! Pool area lovely and spacious and pool bar accommodated for everyone. The entertainment team were amazing, Mau, Rodrigo and Vanessa all great people and gutted to say goodbye to them. Plenty of activities throughout the day and they kept the kids and adults entertained well at night. Room was pretty standard and hot water sometimes went off on occasion (depends how long you shower for) and had to wait a while for the boiler to warm back up, but that didn’t put a dampener on our holiday. All in all a great stay and would definitely come back!

OK. so here we go.... We have just returned from Monica Beach Club Hotel which I booked as a SPECIAL 70th Birthday Trip for my husband.... First impressions in all honesty were OMG what have I done!!! I kind of forgot that although 70 was only 21.... it meant celius not age!!!! BUT.... and here comes the BUT!!!! Within a very short time we forgot that we weren't 'oldies' and we had an amazing 4 days!!! We have to give a massive shout out to ALL the staff!!! The first encounter we had was with a very new member of the reception team - Ana Marcia (sorry if I havent spelt your name right!!) She really really did go above and beyond to make us feel welcome!! On checking into our room .... it somehow wasnt 'quite' what we wanted..............so politely I explained what my expectation was.... Next morning the FANTASTIC 'Carla COEELHO' spent a HUGE amount of how to work out HOTEL ROOM 'TETRIS' to do her very best to ensure our expectations were met!! Thank you Carla for your lovely smile, patience, and FANTASTIC customer service to make our stay PERFECT!! I can not emphasise enough how SPECIAL and FRIENDLY ALL the STAFF are! My reccomendation to anyone who has a problem............... is don't blam the hotel, don't blame your 'travel booking company'..... talk to the staff (politely!!)... give them a chance to do what they can to meet your expectations!! WE DID... WE CAME BACK WITH AMAZING MEMORIES....................and WE WILL RETURN!!!..................xx
