BQ Delfin Azul Hotel

Lovely clean hotel in a great location, the bar is reasonably priced (4€ pint of Magnets on tap & a glass of vino 3.50€) just outside the hotel doors turn left and there is a Spar shop and at the end of the hotel road… turn left for Lidl and the Marina and if you turn right this takes you to an array of shops/bars/restaurants. The bus stops are just outside the hotel which we found really helpful and easy to use (tap on, tap off) For easy access to the beach go straight across the road using the crossings, then turn left and then right and just keep walking down the road till you come to the beach front. Room was small but adequate (no kettle) we had a pool view which was a nice bonus and a bottle of bubbly was sent up to our room for my wives birthday. We had breakfast each morning, which had a really good variety of hot/cold food and occasionally if you’re lucky there is proper thick cut English bacon! you can even have a glass of bubbles too! The staff work tirelessly and are so friendly. The air con wasn’t switched on till around the 10th May we arrived on the 4th… so till then we just left our balcony doors open at night! TV in room has all of the British channels and towels are changed as frequently as you would like them to be. The towels for the pool are 10€ deposit + 10€ per week per towel, you can buy a beach towel cheaper in the local shops for 5€ but I guess some people like to change their towels frequently during their stay. If you have an early flight pick up you can still go to the restaurant and help yourself to some breakfast, just notify reception (no hot food but plenty of cold choices + toast & drinks)

Our room was lovely and clean as well as rest of the hotel. Breakfast good lots of selection. What we saw of the entertainment was ok. Pool area clean and tidy. We would have liked a room overlooking the pool but you can’t have everything. Within walking distance of Alcudia Port, certainly a hotel we would go back to.

We had a great stay in this hotel. Hotel was very clean. Bedrooms good size and beds very comfortable. Vast range of yummy foods for breakfast. Beautiful pool area with no problem getting sun beds. Hotel is in a great location with shops and restaurants nearby. Hotel staff were all friendly and eager to help you. Highly recommend staying here. We will be back!

This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. Like others have said, I was dropped off at the end of the street with the coach driver pointing at the hotel. I didn't have to wait long for my room but I was only an hour before official check in. The room was clean and tidy, very minimalist, comfy bed with working aircon. No soap in the bathroom only in the shower, no hotel information. The service was mostly good but as a solo female traveller I felt I was invisible. Always given the worst table in the restaurant - near the food and the entrance. The restaurant manager wasn't particularly friendly but the other staff were very good. Drinks were brought quickly, tables cleared efficiently. You have to pay for everything - pool towels, iron, kettle, fan etc. I don't know if this is usual for Mallorca but it's never happened in any other 4 star hotel I've stayed in before. I wanted to phone reception one day as the water was off in the room but there was nothing to tell me how to do it on the room phone. The food was mostly good, although some of the cooked fish which was inedible. Mostly self service apart from odd bits of freshly cooked food. They catered for everyone including a few vegan choices. Bar staff were friendly and the outdoor cafe served excellent, reasonably priced food. 5 minute walk to the beach, 20 minutes to the marina. There was nothing much to see on the 35 minute walk to the Old Town but it's worth the walk.

Lovely hotel, staff brilliant, kind and helpful. Room was clean and bright. It was cleaned every day. The hotel was nice and clean too. The food was good of all kinds and to cater all. The entertainment was iffy, some good nights some not so good! The pool area was nice and big and lots of sun beds! Would definitely go back.

From entering the hotel we were made to feel welcome. It was fairly quiet as the resort was only starting to open. The hotel was clean and modern. Very spacious rooms were maybe a little small for the 3 of us and the buggy but not a problem by any means again they were clean. We stayed 4 nts and we had cleaners in daily making the beds and changing towels. Entertainment was ok kids disco wasn’t on for very long however it was April not many kids there so maybe it is on longer during peak season. Didn’t really stay for entertainment after that. Food - I personally found breakfast slightly cold there are microwaves there to heat up. Plenty of choice bacon sausage eggs hash browns omelette and pancakes made on request fab and a great big pot of Nutella which went down a treat with my daughter. Fizz fruit juices teas and coffees , toasts preserves cold meats and sweet treats there was literally something for everybody. Snack bar was reasonably priced pizzas were beautiful and the toasties and chips that’s all we tried but really enjoyed them. Drinks plenty of choice 3.50 euro for fruit flavoured cider and bottles of bud. Smirnoff ice , wkd were 4 euro. Soft drinks 2 euro 40. Not far from the beach 15 minute walk. The port was all open amusements were great plenty of bars and restaurants. If you enjoy Indian food definately try Buddhas eye it was beautiful you will not be disappointed. Reasonably priced. Nice cocktail bar called mai tai on the way down to the port. Overall a really nice stay I would return in a heartbeat.
