Our stay at the Mariner Club was lovely. I had opted for half board due to it being my daughter’s first package holiday and with a 5 night stay thought it would be an easier option than traipsing hot hungry bodies around unfamiliar territory. The staff were great at letting us know our options, and the food was tasty. Being near to supermarkets helped with snacks & other provisions and the beach wasn’t that far away. The room with a kitchenette was clean, and the neighbourhood quiet. Relaxing by the pool was great for taking in all the other visiting nationalities. It’s worth paying the extra for air-con especially in July!! Special thanks to Miguel and the waiting staff for all their help during our stay.

The pool was absolutely great, loads of sun loungers ever day. The food was excellent. Evening entertainment was varied and fun. Apartment basic but satisfactory. The staff were fantastic, especially George and Michael who made our holiday unforgettable. Only criticism over the entire 10 days of our visit. The aircon broke down twice, and the courtesy room to shower in is in the laundry service area, had no aircon and was like an oven. But I would recommended this place snd I’d certainly go back.

Brilliant Hotel for the price. It's 2 star but we'd rate it a 3. Yes, we could nit pick but overall we had a great stay. Rooms were basic but had everything we needed to make a basic lunch/breakfast etc. Shower pressure was brilliant too. Staff are lovely especially if you engage them. Miguel was great and helped us with our Spanish as we were trying our best to speak the language rather than expect them to understand everything we say. We loved sitting on our balcony people watching and watching the light entertainment if we were back to catch it. Heard lots of negative reviews for this place so had low expectations but was pleasantly surprised. Stayed for 4nts but maid still came in and changed towels and bins. Room 225 was a great location for watching the sun rise over our pool and watching night time entertainment. Heard bad reviews about mozzies and ants but with a bit of common sense these can be avoided. Spent a small fortune on mozzie repellents etc after reading reviews and can home with zero bites. Keep doors closed and cover up at night if you are allergic to mozzies and put food in fridge to keep the ants out. On the odd night the pool stayed open much longer too which our son loved. Plenty of sunbeds to go around so there wasn't much antisocial sunbed hogging!!! Loved the fact that there were lots of different nationalities staying too and not just us English. Its i little further away from the beach but we enjoyed the walk most of the time. The local spar nearby was great for everything we needed.

We have just returned home from Mariner Club Apts. 2 Adults, 1 Child (aged 13). Booked on a self-catering basis with Jet2Holidays and I can honestly say we have had a lovely time. We were a little apprehensive before we left as we had read some negative reviews on Trip Advisor and wondered what we were going to find, however, as I’ve already said, we were pleasantly surprised and very happy. Staff :- we found all the staff we had any dealings with to be smiley, happy, friendly and helpful. They interacted well with the customers (including the children), spoke many different languages and If you had any questions or problems they would help you and point you in the right direction. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Room :- we had a studio apt and although compared to others we have stayed in, it was a little on the smaller side, it was perfectly adequate for us, even with an approaching 6ft 13 year old! We had plenty of storage and a bathroom including a bath and powerful shower. The kitchenette was small, with 2 hob rings and hardly any work surface, however, we found we had plenty of room to make breakfast and lunches which was fine for us as we had intended to eat out every night for our main meal. A full size fridge with freezer compartment is a great bonus. We also had a kettle and toaster and plenty of crockery, glasses and utensils etc. Air-Con … it is payable if you want it. Trust me, you need it! It cost us €2.50 per day with refundable €5 deposit … seriously not even worth considering! It’s a godsend and works brilliantly! Also, the safety deposit box key is payable too…that cost us the same amount. It didn’t bother us having to pay extra for these things as we had read the small print during our booking process so we’re aware they weren’t included in the booking price. Genuinely didn’t feel they overcharged or anything though as others have said previously. Cleanliness :- we found the staff here took pride in the cleanliness of their apts and the communal areas. Domestic staff were visible every day around the complex, chatting with customers and children etc and maintenance staff were regularly cleaning and doing pool/water checks etc. The bar/restaurant staff were constantly clearing used glasses/plates etc and wiping down which was great as it meant there was never any leftovers hanging about attracting insects etc. Pool :- Great size and every morning it was cleaned and the area around hosed down etc. The pool has small mosaic tiles throughout and is admittedly a little tired so a few of these little mosaic tiles are falling off here and there. For saying we went in the middle of UK school summer holidays, we never felt crowded in the pool and no matter what time it was, there were always available sun beds! This was worth its weight in gold as I absolutely detest the mad towel dash in the mornings! Absolutely none of that here, amazing! Inflatables allowed if that’s your thing. No life guard so please be aware that you have to

We're just back last week from our holidays at the Mariner Club and we just can't stop talking about our wonderful experience. When we booked we were a little worried as the hotel looked very "modest", but I must say we had the best holidays in a long time and it was all thanks to ALL of the staff and our experience at Mariner Club. The apartments were what we expected them to be, but they're clean and comfortable. It was 2 families in our group. We liked that there was only a ground floor and 1st floor and everything was so at hand. We never had to worry about getting a sun lounger, there were plenty available for everyone and we loved that the pool was never too full of people. The complex never felt crowded and we got to know all of the staff quite well which makes it more personal. A very family orientated club and, even though our children are late teens and early 20's, we liked that we could see them at all times and never had to worry or wondered where they would be. They enjoyed the holiday just as much as we did and never wanted to leave our side as they were having too much. They loved and participated in the entertainment at night. I must give a special mention to Jorge, our barman. He went above and beyond to make us feel at home. He always seemed to be happy and we all had a good laugh with him. There was also Mike and Mario at the bar and 2 other very pleasant girls. Amanda and Bruno were the entertainers who had the patience of a Saint and were always very lively. Diego, the maintenance man and all the staff in reception including the domestic staff who were always very smiley despite having to work hard in the very hot days. Everyone was so keen and willing to help us whenever we had a query no matter how silly it was. We would go out for dinner most days to experience different restaurants, but a few times that we eat at the hotel, the food was very good and great value for money. There were so many positives, I could be writing all day. We haven't stopped recommending this place to everyone and we would love to go back again.

Ok budget hotel a little walk away from "it all". Pros: Friendly staff Good a/c Freezer in the fridge Ok+ area outside Nice studios Enough sun beds Cons: Hard mattresses Worn out and a bit dirty pool (bandages, false nails, loose tiles) Crazy amount of mosquitoes (as in many places in Alcudia) Only cleaning every 3rd day, no changing of bed sheets

No idea what the reviewer below is on about. The pool is cleaned every single morning. I sit ony balcony and watch them do it around 8am. Just because Gordon isn't up doesn't mean it doesn't happen. Nothing much can be done about things gathering in the pool during the day but at no point did it feel dirty. The rooms are all you need for a holiday in the sun. As a family we have no complaints. If you're in your room worrying about the decor I dont know what you are doing in Majorca. Staff are very friendly, Mario, Senor Pedro, Simone, Mathilde, Fillipe all great. Food is excellent and very reasonable. Entertainment could be better but now the hotel is multinational its hard to make that work. Excellent place we would recommend without hesitation. The lay out of the apartments and the pool makes for a great environment particularly if you have children. Gracias Mariner Club. You're great.

Just arrived back, and have mixed feelings about our stay at Mariners Club. So the good things are: The staff are great, very hardworking and friendly in general, the pool is great, little shallow bit for toddlers, mini fountains in the middle, and nicely lit at night with people in there up til midnight ! Reception area pleasant enough, games room etc. sheets and towels seems to be changed every 2 or 3 days during our stay, and bins emptied. We had some wasps on our balcony which got dealt with straight away. There was entertainment of sorts most nights. Some shops and a few restaurants/bars about 4 min walk away. The down sides: Room was quite small, and no separate room, so adults and our teenager together, not a big deal, but some privacy would have been good. The loungers had people throwing towels on the night before so there were rarely any available by morning unless you played the same game, despite a sign in reception asking not to do this, it wasn't enforced at all. Often the day was full of empty sunbeds with towels on. The food was OK, but not the best, so we ate out most days except breakfast. The aircon was another €40, and wifi €10, no biggie, but could be included. The beach is nearly a 15 minute walk, so a bit of a slog with towels, inflatables etc. The better restaurants were around a 10 minute walk. It was good value, and important things like cleanliness and service were good, but not sure I'd stay there again, as the location is right on the edge of the Alcudia area, so always a fair stroll to get around. I'd look to stay near the port, as it's near the beach, the old town and all the better food and shop options.

Feel sad having to write this after so many years of amazing visits. Mariners club has always had a place in my heart, I've been visiting for 15 years, it is no longer the place I love. Gone are the family friendly holidays and sitting on the terrace with other families having a fun time. This has unfortunately been replaced with countless Spanish, French and German nationalities. This place is dead. NOT family friendly anymore, full of young rowdy Spanish lads, hen party's etc. The evenings use to be packed, music on, discos for the little ones. This has been replaced by a unmanned CD player which the younger lads take over once their drunk at 11pm. The amazing staff that once made people feel so welcome have moved on to other hotels and bars and I completely understand why! The hotel went international after covid to make money but for me this has backfired, the bar was empty, I've never seen it so dead. The pool was dirty, the room was dirty, everything felt dirty. My room was not cleaned once and the bed was just falling apart. I have left over 12 amazing reviews in the past and leaving this makes me sad 😔 I will never return.
