Strange hotel. Wanted to like it but felt like it was under renovation still. The quality of the renovation was also a little sketchy. The light fixture was broken in the room and the shower flooded the entire bathroom. Felt like quite strange decor a mix of new and old not really what you see on the website. The bar / breakfast area is stunning and much more in keeping with what I thought the rest of the hotel would be like. Nevertheless nothing was really wrong with our stay we just got a bit weirded out by the decor and renovation

Hoteller ligger i en fin bygning og utvendig ser veldig fint ut. Rommene derimot har ganske lav standard. Vi kunne like gjerne leid ett rom i en 2-3 stjernes hotell med selfservice checkinn. Bad/WC hadde dårlige fasiliteter og rommet var lytt. Vi hørte tydelig hva folk snakket om i gangene.
Konklusjon: et ok overnattingssted og ikke noe mer enn det. Standarden levde absolutt ikke opp til den høye peisen.
PS!
Hvis du forstår øst europeisk,så har du gleden av å høre på en øst europeisk radio stasjon i matsalen.

Special thanks to Louisa at reception for being so empathetic and accommodating! We loved the hotel and definitely recommend. Nicely located near all the attractions and easy walk around the neighborhood to see the main points of interest in town. Close to the steps to the top of the mountain. Dinner also excellent, try the tempura schrimp as a strater, and the fish soup. Excellent menu. Very cozy and stylish ho, minimalist style and everything is very tasteful.

Great hotel. Rooms felt very minimalist, which was good - but could have done with some more information on the facilities at the hotel in the room. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.
