The room itself was small but had even a balcony. On the floor there is a kitchen, a living room, two toilets and a shower available for community use. "I stayed here for two nights, but the weather was terrible – heavy rain and strong winds. Luckily, the hotel wasn't too far from the station, but the whole way was uphill, which was tough for people with luggage! There were supermarkets nearby, so buying food wasn't a problem. The room was very warm, and the bathroom was large with a bathtub. It faced the sea view, so even though the weather outside was bad, my mood wasn't too bad. I especially liked the breakfast – it was plentiful and had a wide variety of choices. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"Our cabin was facing the waterfront which was lovely. It was advertised for 3, but I think it would be difficult for two adults to sleep next to each other in the bed, which was also very creaky. There are only 8 cubicles which contain shower and the toilet, so we had to queue both in the evening and in the morning and inside all was very wet and therefore didn't feel clean. The site is quite a way out of town, so we drove back to Alesund. The reception only sells crisps and ice cream but apparently there is a supermarket nearby."

"I had terry luck with their locks. First day I cannot lock my door. It just doesn’t work. I called them and they said it’s 11pm so there’s nothing they can do. Then I ask to switch room. There’s no way I can go shower if I cannot lock my room at all. However, on the next day 8am I went to use toilet and I’m not able to come out. I called them and no one picked up. I was locked in 10 minutes inside, I try to yell, clap etc no one come to me. At the end I ask Gemini and he suggested I turned both the handle and the knob and that’s how I got out. Thank god I brought my phone into the toilet with me"

"Complete disaster! Apart from the poor signage, this was rude behavior from the reception staff! I have never had experienced anything like that! And I found it to be harassing behavior! I have been travelling to Norway for more than 20 years and have always had good experiences! Unfortunately there is ONE exception - and that is the rude staff at the reception of this campsite! You never forget something like that! One star is to much! Never again! "

"It's about a 10-minute walk from Korsegata. The front desk staff were very kind and helpful when I couldn't open my suitcase. Breakfast was delicious. The room was very clean and spacious. I enjoyed free coffee in the lounge area on the first floor. Following the staff's advice, I checked out around 4am and took the 5am bus from Korsegata to Øresund Vigla Airport, making it in time for my 6:30am flight to Amsterdam."
