"Location is very central, just 5 minutes walk from Airport bus stop and just off main pedestrian street with shops and restaurants. Room was spacious and light and clean. However, despite requesting a room away from lift it was next to lift. When I checked in was told hotel busy so could not change room. So just a warning that hotel pays no attention to room requests. The hotel was also full of groups so breakfast was very busy with queues for food."

"The room had a shared bathroom, but honestly, it wasn't a problem. The room was clean, as were the bathrooms, which were usable. The modern furnishings are comfortable. The location is a bit out of the center, but that's inconvenient if you have your own vehicle. Being close to a hospital, I think it's also well-served by public transportation."

"The environment is quite peaceful, suitable for people who enjoy saunas and swimming. The breakfast is also quite plentiful, so it's pretty good! It was raining when I arrived, so I didn't get a good look at the scenery outside."

"Good location in Alesund and a short walk away from the downtown. Rooms are not too big but acceptable. Breakfast for takeaway was organised and was decent with a sandwich and yogurt and juice. Just a short hike away from the viewpoint. Can recommend the hotel."
Volsdalen Camping
"Our cabin was facing the waterfront which was lovely. It was advertised for 3, but I think it would be difficult for two adults to sleep next to each other in the bed, which was also very creaky. There are only 8 cubicles which contain shower and the toilet, so we had to queue both in the evening and in the morning and inside all was very wet and therefore didn't feel clean. The site is quite a way out of town, so we drove back to Alesund. The reception only sells crisps and ice cream but apparently there is a supermarket nearby."
