A well located hotel but quite old in facilities

L'Hotel nel complesso non ha i servizi per il numero di stelle dichiarato: non ha il servizio ristorante, non ha la piscina, non ha la palestra, non ha i parcheggi, c'è il televisore ma nessun abbonamento o contenuto (abbastanza inutile), ha l'aria condizionata ma la controllano loro con un sistema centralizzato e automatico secondo le temperature che stabiliscono (per me troppo fredda) e ho dovuto soffrire il caldo perché anziché farmi regolare il condizionatore me l'hanno staccato per tutta la permanenza. Ha il servizio portineria ma di notte il proprietario ti fa pesare se lo disturbi. La struttura è fatiscente; il bagno perdeva dalla doccia, il lavello era tappato, dal gabinetto usciva un odore di fogna e l'acqua calda a volte non c'era. La camera matrimoniale è piccola e l'illuminazione sgradevole. Il telefono in camera non prende e il Wifi è debole. Per tutta la mia lunga permanenza il proprietario è stato sempre scortese. La colazione è cara e con prodotti molto scadenti, poca scelta e poca quantità. Ogni volta che è mancato qualcosa, ad esempio è capitato che dopo le pulizie mancassero gli asciugamani sostitutivi e rimanevo senza, la risposta quando chiamavo dal telefono interno era "scendi a prenderli". Di buono ha esclusivamente la posizione che è abbastanza centrale e vicino al lungomare. Esperienza che non ripeterei se non obbligata.

Room spotless but very cold (temperature). Heat pump remote control without batteries. Still very bare, in preparation for high season. Very friendly staff even if the request to wake up for 5.45am via the telephone in the room was not answered (probably due to technical problems with the receiver in the room). Excellent location 50 meters from the seafront. Historic center with clubs not very close (if reachable on foot)

We went on New Year's Eve 2024, air conditioning not working. The room was freezing, an icy night, dirty with dust, rubble and caked paint. The water was not hot, but lukewarm and intermittent. According to the facility, everything was normal as there was construction going on. Breakfast not included, despite an excessive price.

Friendly and helpful staff, I had booked a single room and was given a double room. Excellent location both for going to the center of Alghero and for taking the beach bus. If I were to return to Alghero, I would definitely stay here.

Horrible room, not renovated on the ground floor with a view of the construction site. Old bathroom. Shower leaking water in the wardrobe. To forget.
