Hotel Calabona
"Great hotel! Good food"
Alghero Vacanze Hotel
"I've been coming here for years. Everything's always great."
Hotel Catalunya
"I had an amazing stay at Catalunya Hotel. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. The restaurant served typical dishes, with fresh ingredients and impeccable service. Overall, the hospitality and attention to detail made my stay comfortable. Highly recommended!"
Hotel Punta Negra
"Who invited and wants the terrible piano-player under our balcony ?? We stay here for rest, not form music. Keep the music in the bar and not outside 😡. The beach is dirty and stinks !! Photos of the private beach at the hotel do not reflect reality."
Hotel la Margherita & Spa
"Very good"
Hotel Oasis
"We had a great time. We had dinner two nights and everything was excellent, compliments to the chef. The service was very good, especially the waitress in the restaurant, who was very attentive and kind. However, the receptionists, upon checkout, charged us the full cost of our stay without checking, even though we had already paid. This can happen, but they didn't apologize or even make a fuss. The only things that could be improved are the mattresses."
Smy Carlos V Wellness & Spa Alghero
"The sea view is really great. The sister at the front desk also helped us upgrade the room type for free. The pool view is also very pleasant. You can sunbathe on the lounge chairs all day. However, the pool is a little dirty. The restaurant tastes ok and the price is basically the same as that of local restaurants. It's just that the room facilities are a bit old. It doesn't look like a five-star hotel of this era. It may also be a common problem of southern European hotels."
Alma di Alghero Hotel
"Welcoming and friendly staff Great location, across from the beach Parking available but €5/day Spacious room Varied and good breakfast Games room available"
Hotel Dei Pini
"Beautiful beachfront location, but the rooms aren't soundproofed; you can hear everything that's going on in the hallways, the rooms next door, and even upstairs. The air conditioning is noisy all night, even when it's off, and the rooms are cleaned very superficially."

Villaggio Camping Torre Del Porticciolo
"A campsite with great potential, but urgently in need of different management. We booked a pitch for our caravan in December 2025 and paid everything in advance. We even had to provide the exact dimensions of the caravan so they could supposedly assign a suitable pitch. One week before arrival, we received an email containing the campsite rules — a long legal-style document clearly written so management can always fall back on “it’s in the rules.” That already gave us a certain feeling. Upon arrival, we were assigned a pitch and given driving directions. We had already noticed the excessive number of speed bumps on the access road, but inside the campsite it became even worse. Not normal speed bumps either — these were aggressive and violent enough to shake the car and caravan heavily with a serious risk of damage. Since the roads are already narrow and winding, these extreme measures feel completely unnecessary. A lack of trust towards customers perhaps? When we finally reached the assigned pitch, the pitch number simply did not exist. Back to reception we went, only to hear: “Oops, mistake — your pitch is on the other side of the campsite.” After crossing countless more absurd speed bumps, we reached the second pitch, which turned out to be far too small for our caravan. So why ask for the dimensions five months in advance? The next pitch they offered was even smaller. Meanwhile, we had noticed a free pitch ourselves, but apparently that one was “reserved.” Weren’t we reserved too? After insisting, we were finally allowed to use it. By then, three hours had passed since our arrival. The campsite also uses a strange payment system with a prepaid chip card. At the bar and campsite shop, payment is only possible using this card, while the restaurant accepts normal credit cards. Makes this sense? The card supposedly also works at the beach bar — except the beach bar no longer exists. Even more absurd: the card can only be topped up with cash, yet there is no ATM at the campsite. You have to drive 14 km just to withdraw money. Passports are held until the tourist tax is paid, but this cannot even be done at reception — you must go to a separate office. Again a sign of distrust? The sanitary building is new, but poorly designed. There are no separate toilets, only combined toilet/shower/sink units, which is highly impractical. Guests also have to bring their own toilet paper — in 2026, seriously? There is no hot water for washing dishes, so people end up using the bathroom sinks instead. Water saving taps are fine, but when you have to push 45 times to fill-up a 20 liter jerrycan you have mist the point and it starts being rediculous. Walking around the campsite, the overwhelming number of rules and prohibition signs is impossible to ignore. In some places there are five or six signs within a few square meters. Guests are treated more like children than paying customers. The management also warns in their legal document about flies and cats, but we ha"
Hotel Angedras
"Lovely clean refurbished room. Excellent stay! In a quiet area of Alghero."
Hotel El Balear
"A 3 star hotel, but 5 star service. The staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful! They organised taxis, expeditions, a hired car and sent me to the most fantastic restaurant. I booked a room with a sea view, which helped! The view at breakfast was equally as nice."
Hotel San Marco
"A basic hotel but clean with spacious rooms. Nice pool, not too many sun loungers. Good location, beach just across the road and only €1 on the bus in to old town which was lovely for evenings out. We were charged lots of extras,€70 A/c, €15 per day beach loungers and tourists tax for the week."
Dolce Vita Suite Alghero
Villa Barbarina - Nature Resort with Pool & Restaurant - Alghero
"Good location near Alghero airport. Room was clean and spacious. Large pool, well kept pool area and grounds and very polite staff. Gisela , our evening waitress was a true gem. Very friendly and helpful. Always smiling. All the staff in general were very helpful. Breakfast was pretty basic . A pre-chopped fruit salad would have been welcome. Coffee was from an automatic self service machine. A bit disappointing in quality. There were two power cuts during our stay - but these affected the general area, not just the resort. Overall it was a quiet, (apart from some aircraft noise) , pleasant stay."
Hotel Giardino la Playa
Wine Resort Ledà d'Ittiri
"This winery is not to be missed! We came for a wine tasting as part of our cruise but they also offer a small number of hotel rooms. Part of the charm is the relatively small size of the estate - roughly 18 acres. The grounds are impeccable and the facilities are beautiful. Annamaria (the owner) is amazing. She took us through a sampling of her whites, rosé, and reds. She combined her knowledge of wine production and her products with a great story telling ability. The red we tasted was out of this world and winner of major wine awards. This is a great example of a winery that is owned and operated by a woman. It is small in terms of total production (roughly 15,000 bottles / year) but its quality and beauty make it a great destination. I can't recommend it highly enough!"
Green Sporting Club Hotel
"Old and dirty ! At the arrival no one was at reception for wile after pressing the bell for several time ! We got given a room that we had to ask to change it for another room as it wasn't clean ! Hair , spider web and descanting toilets ! My fiancé was terrified ! The replacing room was about the same ! I don't know what does the cleaner do ! A glass was broken in the balcony the day we arrived and was still there the day we left ! I won't recommend this hole to no one !"
Hotel Domomea
"Modern hotel, located just outside the historic center. Limited but free parking is available in the adjacent residential area. Clean rooms and a good selection at the breakfast buffet."
Villa Las Tronas Hotel & Spa
"This hotel was paradise! Our room was overlooking the ocean and the town. We spent a lot of time at the hotel because our room was beautiful. We had a huge deck with a hot tub. Everyone working there was so accommodating and happy! We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food was amazing! This was an elegant experience! We hated to leave an Eloquent hotel with everything you wanted."
Alghero Resort Country Hotel & Spa
"Overall the Alghero Resort is not bad, it is just passed its heyday and needs some serious maintenance: Driving up the country road leading up to the resort, following an almost makeshift sign with construction fence on the left partially covered with tattered tarp already made a not-so-good impression. The overall grounds look neglected: The grass and plants have not been tended to, the tennis courts also look dated. Actually, there are no longer two tennis courts, but just one, the other one has been turned into apartments, but the floodlights and green floor remain, giving the area a patched up impression. A number of cats roam the property which was great for the kids. The rooms were OK (i.e. clean and quiet enough for us and the AC was fine too), although one should not look too closely at the shower stall. The windows of the bedroom under the roof were covered with a makeshift kind of blinds taped with scotch tape. The Wifi was very weak and kept disconnecting. At breakfast, we were disappointed because of the limited variety and that things were constantly running out. We had to ask for essentials such as salt, butter or coffee. After a while, it felt tedious and uncomfortable asking the staff to fill up the buffet all the time. The staff was nice enough, though. Another disappointment was the absence of the gym which has been turned into a spa area. Unfortunately, the presence of a gym had been marked on one of the major booking websites and had actually been one of the reasons we chose this resort in the first place. Overall, the Alghero Resort seems to be relying on old reviews while not keeping up with current standards when it comes to 4-star lodging, which is very likely to disappoint future guests. The place has a lot of potential but it needs some serious TLC. If the Alghero Resort were categorized as a 3-star and priced accordingly, it would’ve been fine but with a 4-star rating and at the rates they charge, it likely falls short of many people's expectations."
Mesbeglia Luxury Rooms
"What can I say, top location, we stayed one night, welcome, relaxation, they are the masters, like Daniela the perfect hostess, seeing is believing....."
Hotel Sa Cheya Relais & Spa
"We thoroughly enjoyed our recent holiday at Sa Cheya. All the staff were very friendly from the moment we arrived to our early departure 7 days later! The choice of food at breakfast was extensive. The waitresses were excellent and always very welcoming each morning to the guests. They constantly checked and refilled the platters of food at the buffet. Our room was very clean, spacious and comfortable, and again the cleaning staff did an excellent job each day. We would recommend the hotel but you do need a car due to it being set in a lovely rural area on the outskirts of Alghero. There is no hotel transport to and from town. One minor moan - the complimentary teabags are not replenished daily and there is no milk. We had to go and buy milk and teabags in town for our room, which was a little disappointing and surprising for such a good hotel."
El Faro Hotel & Spa
"The environment and rooms are both okay."
Affittacamere Sardegna Sole e Mare
"Beautiful, very clean and spacious room and services; soundproof windows and walls that allow wonderful peace and perfect air conditioning. Excellent breakfast with the presence of a veranda; the lady offers many comforts and suggestions. Thank you very much Elisabetta Federica and Loreto"
San Francesco Heritage Hotel
"If you want to stay somewhere with plenty of character and atmosphere in Alghero Old Town, then go no further than Hotel San Francesco. Situated in a former 16th century monastery its like no other hotel I have stayed in. Although the rooms are small, they are spotless and have all the required amenities. The hotel is quiet. Breakfast is a treat and is taken in the Cloisters. Francesco and Lello are super friendly hosts and they just add to the all round great experience. You can enter the stunning Church from the hotel, so don't miss it. Five star experience."
Las Palmas
Nuraghe Bianco
"10/10. Great B&B in a great location with a huge and nice garden, really nice and helpful owners, delicious breakfast in a peaceful spot. I highly recommend it and we definitely will come back next time for sure. We were 9 family members with 4 kids, and couldn't ask for more to be honest"
