The air conditioning was too low, which gave me a cold. There was no toilet paper in the bathrooms all evening and all morning. Nobody is at the reception most of the time, there is just a whatsapp number you can text. When I was checking out at 9.30 am, the locker didn't work and the guy took 40 minutes to answer. He says these were his "off hours". So, basically, there is no support whatsoever when you are checking out, nobody is around if there are issues. The guy went all passive-aggressive on me, because I left my bags in the room lockers instead, saying I'd come back to pick them up at 14.30, before others had to check-in. He made me rush back from my way to the beach at Cabo to pick up my things, otherwise, there would be a fine, he said. There are fines for everything in this hostel - 50 EUR for adjusting the aircon, 50 EUR for not leaving your cheap towel on your bed. In sum, very poor communication skills, very poor service, and they basically ruined the last day of my holiday. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
