We love staying here when we travel but the only thing wrong is the BEDS....their aren't comfortable

We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and comfort of this hotel. The area was nice and staff was too.

The room was dirty & there was no staff to bring or clean items. The front desk attendant was doing everything they could but the facilities were just dirty. The room we had was damaged everywhere, doors furniture and dark stains on the walls and carpets. I had family staying in the holiday in next door and it was SO MUCH BETTER than the Hampton Inn. I really want my pet fee back since we left the room cleaner when we found it.

This hotel seems to have been updated a bit since my last stay. My room was clean, all lights and ac worked perfectly, updated bathroom and shower. Very nice employees.

We've stayed in this hotel many times and never had a problem, but this time the front desk staff was rude. At check in the man seemed irritated with us being there. We had to ask for an extra blanket and that really seemed like it was an inconvenience to get it for us. I am allergic to most indoor pets, never had a problem at this hotel before, but Monday morning when I woke up my eyes were almost swollen shut due to pet dander in the room. When we checked out I asked the lady at the front desk if they allowed pets in the rooms, she replied "oh yes we are pet friendly now." I told her about my allergic reaction and her reply was "oh well we are pet friendly now." If my allergic reaction had been any worse we would have had to go to the ER. So apparently at this hotel now being pet friendly is more important than making sure guests with allergy problems don't have an allergic reaction from pet dander in a room.

This Hampton Inn was easy access and easy to find. Which I appreciated. It was clean. The people were friendly. What I didn’t like was the huge fans in the hallways running continuously on high to help with humidity. IT SOUNDED LIKE I WAS ON A RUNWAY!!! Somehow I managed to sleep through it.

The air conditioning wasn’t properly working. Housekeeping did not clean the room even though we requested it. The sheets were torn.

Let me start by saying that my wife and I come to Alice a few times per year for business. We have stayed at other hotels, but generally, we like this one the best. Until this trip on June 8, I liked this hotel a lot. Unfortunately, the check-in person has made me re-think this opinion. I am blind, and I travel with a guide dog. The person checking me in, suddenly asked me during the check-in process, what my dog's name was. At first, I thought it was genuine curiosity since I get this question asked many times. Since I don't want my dog distracted by people who might say his name, I gave the person my dog's pseudo name, or street name. Then, I found out he was filling out a pet form. I asked him to tell me more about this form, and he said it was required for everyone who stayed with them if they had a pet. I reminded him my dog was not a pet and he himself even asked about my service animal. He said that regardless of what it was, they were still required to fill out this form. Although I was not okay with this, considering that the Americans with Disabilities Act doesn't require this, I was willing to let it go. However, adding insult to injury, he hands my sighted driver a door sign that warns people that there is a dog in the room. Considering that my dog will be with me at all times, I see this as labeling me and separating me from the general public. I am happy to say that I did not put the sign up. This person needs to be educated.

You have to request maid serve, had to gather towels, and exchange for clean ones. Had to request for food during breakfast, and find the attendant.

Hampton Inns generally are expensive for us to stay at given our retirement budget. When we do stay at them it is a treat. That being said, our room smelled musty. It was an initial smell everyone you walked in the room, but not so bad that you couldn’t stay in the room. The first day we had a cold shower and sink. But the second day we miraculously had heated water for our showers. I gave the rating I did because their attention to detail could have been better for our room in particular. Otherwise, our room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good.
