The room at the hotel was clean. Water pressure in the shower was great. Otherwise I found this hotel unpleasant. The first thing you see upon entering the hotel were the numerous signs with warnings and rules. There were paper print outs of these all over the place warning that you need to request room cleaning, that this was a no smoking hotel, that no one who lived within 30 miles could stay overnight at the hotel, that all guests must throw their own trash away, that smoking was prohibited and guests would be fined $250 for smoking. I understand hotels have rules but these signs were everywhere. Also, the hotel staff was unpleasant the entire stay. We were there several days and not once were we greeted upon arrival back at the hotel. Staff avoided making eye contact with guests in order to avoid being asked questions. The front desk clerk was watching a movie on her phone while sitting in the breakfast area and just continued to sit there while we waited for assistance at the front desk. Eventually a maintenance worker came over and helped us. We left a key at the front desk for our daughter and they did not ask her to show any ID before giving her the room key. We never had soap replaced in the room even though they threw out the soap every day. My daughter said that she never received soap despite requesting it numerous times. We asked for a banana (for my daughter who has a lot of food allergies) because this was the only item at breakfast that she could eat. They gave her a green banana. When she asked for a ripe banana they literally told her ”No” and walked away. Luckily we had brought our own food for her to eat.

We always stay here because the service is great for a good price with the Stay/Park/Fly Package. Everyone is pleasant, helpful and anxious to make our stay great. Check in is very easy. The rooms are clean, have a coffee station, are quiet, and the beds are very comfortable. The individuals at the desk are great, and the dining staff is very friendly and helpful. They even remember us from previous stays. In the breakfast dining room at the drink station, you can have regular and decaf coffee, juices, milk, hot chocolate and hot tea. For breakfast we have had pre-scrambled egg patties, potatoes, toast, sausage patties or links, fresh fruit such as apples, bananas, or oranges, and various breads such as white bread, raisin bread, or bagels. Once we even had chocolate chip cookies which were good. There are also individual yogurts. The breakfast is very filling to start your day. The shuttle service driver is always very friendly and handles our luggage. Upon arrival, we let the check in clerk know what time our flight is, and we are picked up the next morning at an assigned time with plenty of time to spare. Then upon our return, we call the hotel and it isn’t long until we are picked up, the driver handles our luggage, and we only have about a 5 - 10 drive back to the hotel. Quality Inn Pittsburgh Hotel takes away all of our worries and decisions. The breakfast is good , the shuttle is reliable, and the staff is very helpful and friendly, but the best part is you can purchase the stay, park, and fly package. We know our vehicle will be safe for our extended travel until we return at a reasonable rate. In closing, we could pay more at another hotel, but we prefer to stay here because it offers everything we need at a reasonable rate, and we can spend the money we save doing other activities.

This is a pretty decent hotel. It is much better than the Hilton Garden Inn we previously stayed in down the street. We initially reserved a studio with 2 queen beds, but got upgraded to a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom suite. My kids were beyond excited because they got their own room, TV and bathroom. My husband appreciated the private bath and corner view with plenty of windows. It was VERY spacious. Our room was listed as having a king bed, but it seemed more like a queen. The pillows and mattresses were not very comfortable, which was disappointing. The bathrooms were clean. The bedrooms were fine, but a bit dusty. The kitchen/living areas were not as clean. The sofa was pilled up and had blonde hairs on it. The kitchen cabinets, stove, table, chairs and fridge had smudges and fingerprints on them, which I found a bit gross. Although there was a full kitchen, there weren't any cleaning supplies aside from a meager roll of cheap paper towels. No dish detergent. No disinfectant spray. Luckily, we didn't really need to use the kitchen. At one point, we used 2 forks and a bowl, so I called the front desk for some detergent and they brought me dishwasher pods which we didn't use. I bought Clorox wipes at the CVS down the street to clean up and left the bowl and forks rinsed off in the sink for housekeeping to wash. Despite these shortcomings, we will most likely stay here again. We'll just be better prepared. Also, be aware that the parking is first come, first serve. We parked and walked to our destinations, which was very easy since the hotel is right on Forbes Ave.

I thought it was nice and I loved the staff

Due to the passing of a beloved friend's father, my husband and I had occasion to go to the Pittsburgh area. I had spoken to Kyarah earlier in the day with a few questions. She was so professional, kind and helpful. We arrived in the evening and because of the location, we first rode past it. However, when we were able to safely turn around, we did so, without incident. We were checked in without issue and Kyarah had made sure before she left for the day that our room was up to standards. Everything was in order. This location is an older property and could use some updating but we were accommodated beautifully. The next morning we were able to have breakfast with a nice selection of items. There were several people already in the dining area. We were able to be adequately distanced from others since Covid 19 is still here. We stayed overnight for two nights and as easily as we were checked in, we were checked out. Should we find ourselves in the area again, we would definitely consider staying here.

The front desk is very friendly, easy to find a restaurant in the area. The room is quite, I can sleep well.

Had a really good two night stay at this Holiday Inn. Front desk was pretty attentive, room was nice and clean. Only problem we had was the bathroom had no vent. Other than that room service was quick, complimentary breakfast was pretty nice. Indoor pool was family friendly fun. Would stay here again another time and recommended for others!
