The location is good, not far from the main city attractions.
The hotel facilities are OK, not too old.
The front desk can speak English, so basic communication is no problem.

Pros-convenient location as I could walk anywhere
The breakfast was good as I had all the fresh food from the buffet
Room was big enough
They tidied up my room nearly every day
Cons-half of the staff were friendly but half put on a poker face. Don’t know if it’s Kazakh culture. I found Uzbeks much friendlier
The gym room didn’t have a mat for weights so a tiny bit of noise from the weight would be frowned upon
The room was quite dated as it was built over 30 years ago
