The location is just a few minutes from the metro station and has several restaurants. However, the supermarket is a little far away, so it's a good idea to check beforehand.
The room was clean and comfortable.
The Onay card is essential for a stress-free tour of Almaty, so I recommend getting one early.

When I requested a room with a bathtub when I checked in, they kindly searched for one and arranged for me to have a twin room on a high floor (21st floor).

It is an old property with Soviet Union Style. Room layout is a bit weird to me, we booked a queen-sized bed room for 2 adults and they gave us something like a room with connect room of 1 single bed. Bathroom is small and old, dont expect much. The only good things is the breakfast spread with wide variety of dishes both local and international. Great selection for cheese & cold cut.
Staff are friendly & helpful but I have an impression that they are understaff as both check-in & check-out need to wait for quite a while. Staff can speak English but not fluent.
