In rainy March 2024, I visited Almaty with my spouse for a business trip. We planned to combine our trip with sightseeing and sought a cozy hotel to stay for a few days. I found one through online reviews, which proved to be reliable. The hotel was clean, the rooms were fresh, and I was impressed by their customer service and courteous staff!

Joan: The hotel is supposed to be 4**** but the real deal is 3***, we stayed three nights on April 24th. two marriages, 4 people, the rooms are small although it must be said that the bed is large and comfortable. But it didn't work, neither the TV nor the air conditioning makes a lot of noise and it's so hot that you freeze. The breakfast is very repetitive and poor, the restaurant staff service seems like zombies, whatever you order they bring you what they want, they make minimal effort. Finally, the price for what they offer is expensive, €103 per room per day. The truth is that they still live in the aura of the Soviet era, this is not a hotel that anyone will recommend a bad experience..

Extended my stay 3 times as it is the best value for money in this area. Positive - Spacious room with a high ceiling - Comfortable bed - Kettle and cups - Nice bathroom with everything you need - Cleaning everyday - Digital locks and control - Nice administrators - Good wifi for work calls and browsing - TV, AC, central heating, and safe Negative - Located on the edge of the city center, can be too far to go to restaurants - Average breakfast

Very nice and cozy hotel in the center of the city. Easily accessible. Recommended for stay during short visits. Breakfast is very good with great spread. Clean rooms. Stayed for 1 night only. No complains as such. Traffic in the city during peak hours is an issue at times.

We live in this hotel. The room is not cleaned!!!!! Things were put in the wash, but didn’t come back on time. We rented a sauna, a man came in from the terrace and just walked through the sauna to the exit. Although there were girls in the sauna. After contacting the reception, they only smiled in response. We ordered a massage, the masseuse was half an hour late. And in the middle of the massage, she said that she forgot that she also had a client 🤦♀️ The restaurant doesn’t have half the food... I never advise anyone to live here!!!

Resident City Hotel is coozy and warm and welcoming hotel, yet it goes easy on your pocket..this was my 1st trip to AlMaty and I recomend it for budget yet a class hotel and don’t forget the staff..Ms. Perizat really thank you soo much, you made the 1st impression worth it.

The hotel does not reach 4 stars, everything is good and great at the entrance, in the lobby, in the corridors, but the room itself, alas, is lower than anything you have seen before (3 stars maximum), everything is clean and tidy, there are bathrobes, slippers and everything you need in the bathroom, nice bed linen, but somehow everything is simple and cheap and ascetic, furniture is made of chipboard, laminate flooring, not cozy. Breakfast is good, everything you need can be found and the quality is normal. The location is convenient, close to the center and the airport
