Excellent hotel. Very helpful staff and management. Great location . Very good food . Very clean and well maintained. This is probably the best hotel in the location with very good views. Some of the local highlights are very close . Some good cafes nearby as well. Overall highly recommended.

Kasar Himalaya Holiday Home ~ Just as the name suggests, it’s a Holiday Home. Simple, Peaceful and Perfect gateaway in the mountains, with well trained, well behaved & courteous staff, delicious Indian food, good location, clean rooms, beautiful views of snowcapped mountain range and a homely comfortable vibe. Nanda Devi room has a breathtakingly beautiful view of the snow clad peaks. Gopalji and Jeewanji - both the brothers have been wonderful and very helpful right from the enquiry stage & even during our stay, guiding us on locations to visit around, arranging a cab or sharing personal notes and talking about their holiday home. Highly recommend for a short leisurely no agenda break in the mountains 😃

We stayed here for almost a week and the experience was phenomenal! Nice peaceful rooms with beautiful interiors and quick room service by their courteous staff. View of Nanda Devi Himalayan range from the balcony is one of it's kind,worth staying for. The whole property is well maintained with cleanliness and hygiene. Great hospitality by the owner Mr. Gopal Mehra ji and his team. They have paid attention to details and you can feel vibe of authenticnAlmora culture throughout the property. They have a separate reading space with a fireplace and you can find good collection of books here including travel guides which have information not easily available on the internet(believe me it's true) We enjoyed reading here having delicious coffee and phenomenal views! Gopal ji has arranged bonfire on our request making our experience more vibrant! Delicious food prepared by Chef ,Mr Kundan was the cherry on top as he paid special attention to his guests. Kumaoni Thali is a must try! I highly recommend this property as in my experience,this is the best one available near Kasar Devi Temple which is just 20 mins walk away. Thanks to Gopal Ji and his team for making our stay memorable.We will visit again!

We as a couple stayed there for 3 nights, the experience was great. The food served there was delicious, the hospitality of the hotel staff was commendable, Yogesh served us a lot. Hotel owner Mr. Jeevan mehra ji is very cooperative. Kasar devi Temple is nearby at walking distance. Binsar wildlife's sanctuary is also not far away . The rooms were neat and clean and what to say about the valley view. Just awesome !!. We also did the village trek of Gaudhuli village, it was an amazing experience for us. Really we enjoyed a lot there.

What am excellent experience, amazing view from the property, excellent food, helpful staff, specially owner look after the guest, they asked all time. wonderful designed, specious rooms, cleanness was great, go for it it without thinking twice.

What else do you want when you can see the entire range of peaks from your bed? Or if you're feeling more energetic then from your spacious balcony? Besides that, we got personal attention from the owners, prompt service from the staff, good food, a room heater, back up electricity, clean bedding, great room. Yes, all of us want to go back.

Come here and enjoy yourselves. You can rent a bike for local sightseeing, Kasar Devi temple is very close by

We are just heading back to Delhi. Had a lovely stay at Kasar Himalaya Holiday Home. Started as a homestay this has been now expanded into a bigger accomodation. This place is great in terms of stay, food and service which made our experience very comfortable. If you are going as a family opt for Room Number 107 which is an exclusive villa on the top floor offering fantastic view of the mountains. Food is delicious with a good spread. The service was terrific and the staff always served with a smile. The owners really took care of us and ensured that we had a comfortable stay. Highly recommended!

I am short of words for the hospitality of Kasar Himalaya Holiday Home. I was stuck there for a week due to Uttarakhand landslides and heavy rains, and owners took excellent care of us guided us to get over the situation. I was made to feel at home during such a time of distress. The view from the hotel is just marvelous and perfect for viewing Nanda Devi peak on a clear sky. Food is delicious and they serve super quick. Property is very well maintained and staff is so well behaved. Definitely do visit if you wish to stay in Almora...this is the best option. Best among the best.
