Homewood Suites by Hilton Atlanta - Alpharetta

Good location near stores and bars and restaurants. Parking is okay. Late night check in was busy with one guest service representative helping guest check in and calls from rooms. Stay overall was nice. Safe area and additional hotel across the road.

The breakfast of course, the quiet, & attentiveness of the staff. & a good deal

This was such a great stay. The location was perfect for us and loved having the extra space and kitchen

So came up a day early to relax before a concert at the amphitheater- good location but property was not a good value- so construction work inside between 8 am and 6 pm- so a lot on banging-two elevators for the whole facility and only one worked- and it was like a ride at six flags with the tugging and ****ing- plus if you on the 6th floor at certain times you just have to walk the stairs down because of the extra slow service- sign says happy hour to 6:30 pm- went past there at 6:10 and it was shut down- should have known that the 15 minute check in (no one else in line) was a sign- no ice machines so you can trot down to front desk and they say "you have a refrigerator"- but only if the ice maker works- and it didn’t? So for the type money they charge- it did not meet expectations at all- disappointed as it was a Hilton property

Staff was super nice & helpful. Room was very clean. But coffee pot did not work and could never get the tv in the living room area to work. Luckily the one in the bedroom did. Walls very then. Everyone talking in the hallways were loud and clear they sounded like they were in the room with us.

The staff at Homewood Suites couldn’t have been any friendlier or more accommodating. The location is ideal with plenty of restaurants, Main Event Games and Top Golf all within walking distance. The hotel is a little old but it is in good condition and going through a substantial renovation. The room was great, large and the beds were comfortable. The only problem with this stay was the renovation. I don’t hold this against Homewood Suites and certainly not the staff but, the construction was loud and started at promptly 8 am both mornings we were there. It would be impossible to sleep through the noise, not exactly the kind of wake up you want on a vacation. Mix in the time zone difference from where we live and it was like being awoken at 7 am on your vacation with construction going on in the room, it was that loud. We would definitely stay here again but, we will wait until the renovations are complete before we return.

Everything is very old and in bad conditions

We love this chain and typically try to stay at Homewood Suites because the suites are great for our family, the rooms are typically clean and they are dog friendly. This one, however, was an outlier. It had all the features we'd come to expect but the place definitely felt worn out and tired, and not what we had come to expect from this chain. Hilton name and price, but not quality at this location. The staff was courteous and helpful, but it was difficult to find a surface in our room that didn't show signs of age or in need of repair. Carpet was in need of a deep clean, walls in need of repair, shower in need of a good cleaning. Even the lobby and elevators felt worn out in some places. We'll keep staying at this chain because this is the first time we've had this experience with Hilton Homewood, but we wont' be coming back to this location in particular.

Decent hotel. We’ve stayed twice for the weekend. Even though the 2 rooms were the same type, they were different. One was on the first floor and a little more run down than the third floor, but it had a ceiling fan and coil burners on the stove as opposed to a flat top, which was nice. All in all it’s a good hotel for the price, location and category. I would recommend staying there. Unfortunately we had an issue where housekeeping must have thought we checked out because they came in while we were away and threw away all our food. Things like leftovers, half a loaf of bread, etc. So we didn’t have anything to eat for dinner that night and were too tired to go out. We ended up eating chips and grapes we had taken with us (full day of kids sports tournaments). I brought it up to the front desk at checkout and they didn’t really seem eager to to anything about it except apologize. They were friendly, but almost seemed to think I was making it up. I didn’t expect anything in return, but throwing away items we had paid for seems like something that deserves some compensation. I think maybe the front desk isn’t very empowered to do such things because they suggested we take snacks from the pantry for the flight home.
