The hotel is located north of Atlanta, more than 50 kilometers from the airport.
The room is large and clean, but the facilities are too old. The elevator button is broken
The hotel provides free drinks
The hotel breakfast is simple, but much better than ordinary American hotels.
There is Macy's Shopping Center opposite the hotel

Room decor was luxurious, bedroom and bathroom amenities were above average, bathroom shower gel, shampoo and conditioner were 1st class. However, towels needed more upgrades and shower liners were moldy needs to be replaced. Iron board needs replaced. Otherwise its amenities and decor can be considered first class, excellent service and great for its price. Breakfast was awesome, however, its presentation, such as serving trays, etc. needed more improvement. I know the hotel is recently under construction. Therefore the elevator was not ready so I wouldn’t rate that. The lobby needs more work, more space and luxury a boutique hotel. I would recommend to separate the front desk and food area. All in all, this hotel has great potential to become one of the best in this area.

Great location hotel with recently updated rooms, and a front desk staff led by Darien who all go out of their way to make sure you feel as though you’re in a 5 Star Treatment Hotel. Lighting was improved tremendously outdoors, and much needed updates inside really make this hotel one of the best values you’ll find for the money!

This property was under renovation. However, when I went in the check in, the young man at the desk told me to hold on and he went to talk to one of the construction workers. I was left standing for a while and finally another desk employee ask if I was being helped and helped me. He never came back. We were told our room was renovated. It was nice and clean however, if this was my bathroom I'd have them come back. The tub spout was not installed correctly and water from the shower was pouring down the hole in the wall. The shower head was not installed correctly either. We turned of the light in the frig because it lit up the whole room at night.
There was a very nice breakfast bar.
We'd try this location again in hopes things get fixed.

I checked in on Monday night around 11pm. The checkin lady seemed a bit strange. But, I noticed this stench in The lobby and as I looked to the right and inside the computer space there appeared to a homeless person and as I went around to look at the drink section where he was seating the smell got worst, he looked like he was testing to get some rest. He had a huge garbage bag with him. It made me feel unsafe and it appeared that the woman was aware of the citation and seemed frantic. While I feel sorry for his citation, if indeed he was homesless, as I know there is many around Alpharetta and near NPM because of Marta accessibility. I don’t think sheltering one at hotel is ok. This was Monday night 1/22. There are a cameras around and some needs to look into this issue if in deed he was homeless. As far as the hotel is under renovation lots of noise early in the morning until 8/9 pm. It also appears as people are living there and not just visiting.

Over the years we stayed at several hotels in Alpharetta and Roswell. We like the Hyatt Place overall. The breakfast was good, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. We will continue to use this hotel when we come to visit our son. The only bad thing was that one of the two elevators was down. Hotel was sold-out with a wedding.
