Just returned from a wonderful fortnight at this apartment hotel. The location is excellent and a relatively easy walk to the local supermarket. Uphill coming back but not that difficult. I timed it several times and it was always under 10 minutes. The staff are friendly and the entire area is maintained to a very high standard of cleanliness. There is a bar area and dining facilities. Wonderful restaurant well worth a visit. An indoor and outdoor swimming pools. The only downside is that we had to eventually come back home. Alvor is a delightful area to explore, well worth a visit.

Have stayed many times at this hotel and always enjoyed its friendly helpful but not intrusive staff. It’s in a good location, clean and efficient, present atmosphere. The WiFi is good and the pool areas excellent. I can’t comment on the food or bar as we love to eat out in town or self cater but the areas and ambience looks good. The self catering is quite limited ( microwave dishes need improvement) and some of the furnishings are getting tired. The tv has very limited English Chanel’s. That said I really enjoy our visits here and will be returning for Christmas and the New Year.

Excelente localização e atendimento com muito conforto. Facil acesso aos principais pontos turisticos do Algarve. Restaurante com boas opções, café da manhã muito bom e tudo por um preço razoavelmente justo. Recomendo o hotel e o restaurante.

It was as always a real pleasure to return to Alvor Park. The accommodation is excellent and it is only a short walk from the beautiful beach and boardwalk. What makes this place so very special however is the staff: all the staff are so welcoming, so efficient and so helpful.

O quarto um apartamento T1 é muito espaçoso, tem uma salinha com sofá e mesa para refeições, a varanda é grande e com uma boa vista sobre o mar e piscina. A kitchenete é suficiente para fazer umas pequenas refeições e o hotel facilita a esponja e detergente. Além de máquina de sumos e torradeira.

The hotel is spotless, the beds and pillows are very comfortable, the studios are fully stocked with everything you need. George on reception is most friendly and helpful. It is a 10/15 minute walk to Alvor partly uphill and uphill all the way back - I would not like to do that walk in the summer heat! 2 lovely restaurants nearest to the hotel are Al Dente and Napoli Pizzaria - both excellent food and value. The food in the hotel restaurant is not the best - spare ribs that were virtually raw and chewy, pork loin that was pretty tasteless, mixed grill that was just o.k., but the 'amuse bouches' were good! The pool is gorgeous and I am sure that the bar is serviced by more staff in summer but in January they could not cope if there was anyone in the restaurant and we had to leave after waiting 30 minutes to be served. Alvor is a charming little village with lots of places to eat and drink but the most relaxing places were the little restaurants by the estuary where it was so relaxing to sit and watch the boats and the birds.

My husband and I stayed for Christmas and New year as we have done for a few years now Wouldn't want to have been anywhere else The hotel is spotless and the staff are amazing Nothing is too.much trouble which creates a lovely atmosphere The hotel has a lovely relaxing bar and restaurant which all.adds to the wonderful experience The hotel is close to the town and the beach Taxis are very reasonable Can't wait to get back there Thanks to all the staff for making us so welcome

We arrived at the hotel late afternoon, having spent around six hours in Faro Hospital as a result of an injury sustained during the inbound flight without any luggage which should have been transported to the hotel via the airline as promised. The reception staff immediately responded to our flight by attempting to find the whereabouts and continued with their search until the cases eventually arrived just after lunch the next day. they were brilliant and continued in this way as we tried to make contact with our UK based travel insurers. Nothing was too much trouble. Because of my wife's injury we rarely left the hotel and found it very relaxing with a superb pool and facilities. It was so good that we have booked again for October this year but for a longer stay. As regards location, it is situated on hilly ground and subject to a taxing walk from the local facilities not suited to the capability of a guest with a leg injury sustained in the aircraft hence the slightly lower score for this category. Otherwise it would be five stars all round.
