"Absolutely loved my stay at Tivoli Algarve!! All inclusive hotel with lots of food, drinks and snack options. The amenities were perfect if you wanted to use the gym, spa or sauna. If you just wanted to relax by the pool, you could get a drink from the bar and lounge either at the adults only or general pool. They had outdoor sports options, basketball, paddle ball or mini golf with a bar/snack bar close by.The property was quite large but quite accessible. You really didn’t need to leave the property for anything, unless you wanted to go to the city center, which they had a free shuttle to. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Tivoli Algarve and would go back again!"

"The room was lovely, very clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the safe did not work which we reported. It would have been nice if tea, coffee was available in the room . Breakfast was very mediocre , Plates and cutlery had to be asked for, the warmers that should have kept food warm did not. The lid of one collapsed resulting in crockery being smashed on the floor-apparently for the 3rd time in several days. Not what I would have expected of a 4 star hotel."

"Hotel was well maintained. Grounds were amazing. Shop on site opens daily but doesn’t stock much. Free bus to town every 2 hours is a bonus. Room was cosy but no kettle had a fridge. Sunbeds were good and comfy and plenty to go round. Food was ok simple but cold no matter what time you arrived to eat. Staff were friendly. Would come again."

"This is a nice, quiet place to stay and the facilities are good. They got new sun loungers when we were there so there is a definite improvement around the pool with space for more people. I echo what others have said that the cleaning is below par, some would refer to it as lazy. The bins were emptied, bed made and towels folded. However, the floor was not swept or mopped for the full week we were there and the bed sheets never changed despite making a complaint and being told it would be done the following day. The cleaning standards need to improve in this otherwise nice complex."

"Excellent hotel. Friendly staff both in the hotel and in the Seadock restaurant, particularly Francisco, Jaoa and Mamam. Pedro was also very helpful at the main breakfast and bar area. Breakfast was a great buffet with everything you could wish for. The rooms were very clean although storage was limited. The room we stayed in was exceptionally quiet and the air con was powerful and quiet. Hotel is kept spotlessly clean by the cleaning staff, an army of unsung heros. We would definitely stay here again."

Foz Club - Algarve
"We stayed here during a 3 week trip to Spain and Portugal. After intense touring and sightseeing in Mardid, Barcelona and Granada, we were ready for a bit of relaxation and this hotel was the perfect place to just sit back and enjoy the view. We had a very nice room of which the best part was the balcony where we had breakfast every day. We were directly above the tennis court and had stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean to the south and to the west we could look across the water to see the town of Lagos Portugal. Just getting to the hotel was a study in ever more relaxing settings. Pulling off of the main road you encounter a small unpaved road, a short distance on the small road and you turn off onto and even smaller unpaved road which leads you to the hotel itself. In a sense, driving down these small roads is driving away from cares and worries into a secluded paradise. On a practical note, the hotel is on a point of land overlooking the ocean. It is filled with artwork, has a small pool, tennis court and access to one of the small secluded beaches that the Algarve is known for. It also affords access to trails along the bluffs witch wend their way through the amazing rock formations for which the Algarve is known."

"We stayed whilst attending a music festival and it was our first time at this hotel. On arrival the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The one bedroom apartment was spotlessly clean and very spacious. The bed was comfortable. We ate at the restaurant several times which we found very reasonably priced for a hotel and the food was of a very good standard and very generous portions. The staff in the restaurant are really friendly and attentive. The coastline and beach are a short walk from the hotel and is literally stunning ( there are steep steps down to the beach as the hotel and grounds are built on a cliff) The only niggles were a badly placed tiny door stop in the bathroom which both myself and my husband stubbed our toes on. Ouch! and having to ask for an iron and ironing board. I think these things should be provided in each apartment. Other than that I would definitely recommend this hotel and we will return in the future"

"Lovely stay in a beautiful resort. The Atlantic pool in particular was beautifully landscaped with stunning views over the cliffs and sea. Great selection of restaurants and bars on site and also along the boardwalk towards Alvor. The townhouse we stayed in was clean, apart from the inevitable ants, and had most things needed for a self catering holiday. The only things missing were a hairdryer and bottle opener so bring these with you. Also there is no luggage service offered so depending on where your accommodation is located on the resort be prepared to carry/drag your suitcases some distance."
Yellow Alvor Garden - All Inclusive
"This accommodation I stayed in Yellow alvor garden is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, in the Algarve (Portugal) they claim to be a 4* hotel but on the jet2 site it says 3* in my opinion it should be 2* the staff are very rude and condescending very unhelpful. As a “4*” hotel they didn’t even have tea or coffee making facilities in the room nothing to drink in the rooms either would have to wait till breakfast for a drink or go all the way down to reception if you was thirsty in the night as they had a water dispenser there, the food wasn’t great was always lukewarm or cold until they topped it up was probably why I got food poisoning a few days in when I went to complain to the staff at reception I was told there’s no way that could be possible, denied it ever happened to me, being very rude and condescending. Housekeeping did the bare minimum when it came to cleaning the room also was met with paper cups in the rooms and in the restaurant for drinks and paper table cloths on the table when eating and last but not least on last day of our stay the lift broke down and was told we’d get help with our things if it was not fixed by the time we was leaving, not only did it not get fixed but we asked for help with our luggage got ignored and had to carry multiple pieces of luggage down 3 flights of stairs on our own, worst experience ever I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all."
