"Located about 30 minutes’ drive from Benagil Cave, this hotel is in a quieter and more relaxing area. There is a private car park, although it will soon require a fee, and there are also plenty of free parking spaces nearby. Towel rental is available as well. However, the pillows were too soft for my preference. I requested a foam pillow, but was given the same type of pillow instead."

"Stayed here for a week room 212, lovely spacious apartment, comfortable bed, all equipment for cooking including a dishwasher, cleaning was regularly done clean towels etc, all staff were super friendly and helpful, we wanted a week of peace and quiet and we got this in abundance here so chilled, can't recommend them enough, short walk into alvor for bars and restaurants, ate in the hotel a couple of times was really good, will be back here again 😊"

"Read quite a few reviews on here about this hotel on here but none of the bad ones that we recognise as true based on our experience . We are a couple in our sixties now and have been here five times , that alone should suggest something . We went all inclusive so all comments regarding food e.t.c is based on that premise . Hotel is clean , well looked after and rooms are likewise . Rooms are cleaned every day , unless you hang the sign on the door to say no . Coffee , milk , water and juices are replenished on each visit . Bathroom and shower are fine , no complaints apart from sink not holding water due to worn plug seal , we managed . Food was fine , enough choice and tasted good . Lots of healthy options , I get the impression some people expected burgers and KFC . Drinks , Coffee , Tea , soft drinks e.t.c plentiful as well as alcoholic drinks , again I think some people expected to use the all inclusive for cheap booze . Staff were fine and polite , again an obvious language barrier because we brits cannot be bothered to try a bit of portugese . Situated in a brilliant area , great easily accessible long beach and rock formations , that make good photos plus a long boardwalk. Alvor close by just a decent walk for anyone decently fit , again we are in our sixties , not many shops , we just went down for an ice cream and sit down and enjoy the view. Portimao is close by , its got a very good shopping center the Aqua Portimao , very good shops and a great food floor . A much lesser one is the Centro Continente , few shops but has a supermarket . We walked it , one and a half hours one way , no problem , contemplated a bus but did not bother , did it three times . Great beach here as well , great harbour and a good museum about sardine fishing , believe it or not brilliant . There were some slight negatives but these were the actions of hotel guests , slammimg doors at night , loud conversations in the hall , lack of control of children running around the restuarant . I would like it if the hotel posted notices reminding people to respect others . And finally we are going again next year ."

"Beautiful hotel with amazing staff. We only had one night here so didn't get to appreciate the surroundings and facilities. Amazing staff at reception on arrival and at breakfast (such a wonderful lady who helped us with all our orders) Lovely, clean, and fresh room. **The only issue I have is the shower, its fine with the blind down and lights off but if you wasnt with a partner, it could be quite embarrassing Will visit again"

"This apart hotel has more advantages than disadvantages. We are a family of 3 and stayed in a one bedroom apartment. The apartment was spacious with a small kitchen area that had everything you needed. The bed was so comfortable, good air conditioning & lots of wardrobe space. Disadvantages of the room were the seating area on the terrace. It definitely needs a little patio table with chairs to enable you to sit eat & drink out there. There were only 2 deck chairs which weren’t comfortable & very dated. The bins didn’t get emptied & we went 8 days without housekeeping. However, in my opinion the place was clean we didn’t see 1 cockroach during our stay. The pool area is lovely & peaceful but not enough beds & in need of updating. Lots of room for more beds so that is definitely something that needs looking at. The Atlantic pool is a stunning location but it’s very dated & in need of updating! the three of us we had to pay 35 euros for 3 beds & brolly which I thought was outrageously expensive considering the pool area was below par. However we enjoyed the 1 day we had there & the food at the bar was nice. The pool bar attached to the hotel was excellent the food was good but the staff could not do enough for you absolutely lovely. The place a is short ride from the centre with plenty of restaurants to choose from. The hotel is a short walk from the beach which is just stunning. All in all we would return to this apart hotel & thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Alvor 🥰"

"Had previously been coming here to this resort for the past 10 years what a disappointment we had this year We had booked an apartment privately and were not told we would not have access to the pool facilities the village reception was so unhelpful along with the main hotel reception in trying to resolve this issue for us. Staff were rude ,abrupt and just in general couldn’t care less as we hadn’t booked through them I guess customer loyalty for the past 10 years means nothing. We ended up leaving that accommodation and rebooking to stay with the hotel itself my god I believe we were given the worst apartment on the grounds E14 the smell of damp and old when you opened the door was disgusting. We requested to be moved which we were to a better apartment but with no aircon ants were a major issue also. I am sad to say after so many family holidays and lovely memories we will not be returning."

"We loved this hotel, spotlessly clean. Beautiful gardens, very well maintained. Staff great, food good, always something to eat. Rooms comfortable and clean. Bar area comfortable with nice seating, the drinks quality was excellent and the red wine was the nicest I have ever had at an all inclusive hotel. Also served decent cocktails at both the pool bar and the hotel bar. We didn't use the pools but the outdoor pool area was tidy and pleasant with lots of sunbeds, the indoor pool looked great, although very hot and humid in there, but not a problem if you are in the pool cooling off. We also used the free shuttle bus into town, which also goes to the beach, great service. All in all we had a lovely break. Thanks to all the excellent staff and facilities."
