I checked in the night before the hotel officially closed. There was only one other foreign guest and I in the entire hotel. We were assigned the best adjacent sea view room, and there were no discounts on all aspects of the hotel’s services, including breakfast the next day. Too. Every service staff who stayed at their posts was also very warm and friendly. Thank you again! Will definitely come here again in the future. The hotel was renovated and expanded on the basis of retaining the former monastery. In addition to having a sense of age, the design is also excellent. This hotel is absolutely gorgeous and provides sublime views of the Amalfi coast. We booked this hotel at the last minute due to some unforeseen circumstances and the staff accommodated all our needs and requests with incredible professionalism and speed. We are especially appreciative of Francesco and the entire front desk team for their hospitality and outstanding service.

The pictures look great of the hotel. However a deeper dive shows a badly kept up hotel. The shower door doesn’t shut completely. The toilet’s flush button is broken. When brought up to the hotel, they said a part was ordered but it takes time (we have now waited two days. ) The sink stops up. The safe needed a part. Pillows are poly- no down. The view is breathtaking.

The hotel service in restaurants, pool and bar areas was excellent. The room value for the price was relatively low compared to other hotels we have visited. The interior was a bit dated, it was relatively small and the decor was a little tired. The housekeeper wasn’t great at replacing items we used and we had to call a few times. Not the slick experience one would expect at this very high end. Amalfi setting beautiful and convent building incredible in itself.
