"Don’t overthink it! This was the most outstanding hotel I’ve ever experienced. Every inch is perfectly curated with layout, design, hardscaping and landscaping; out of a fairy tale. Amazing service, great vibe, and top level food and cocktails with multiple dining options including fine dining with a Michelin star. Its waterfront sets it further apart, and try to arrive by boat to add to the experience. You don’t want to stay in Positano or Amalfi; fun to visit and retreat back to this oasis. You can grab a water taxi or use there car service to go for the day or evening when you want 10 mins to Amalfi by car and 15 to Positano by boat. Better yet, spend the day at their beach and lay in the sun and swim in the sea in complete peace and quiet. We were amazed that literally every aspect of this experience was at a first class level. Their concierge set up dinners, and car and boat service. They have a fleet of boats you can rent with a captain for the day. We were picked up in Capri and did an 8 hour boat trip stopping to swim and eat lunch at a beautiful restaurant along the way. Borgo Santandrea is truly special."

"A very good hotel with amazing customer service. Pros: 1. They give you a free shuttle service that you can book in advance to and from Amalfi city centre. You can book it from your own phone when you are out on some trip and anytime with ease. 2. People at the reception are very nice and helpful. They even upgraded my room for no extra charges. 3. The restaurant serves amazing food. 4. Views from the hotel, cleanliness and the overall ambience deserves Five star! Cons: 1. Location is bit far from city centre and if you are travelling in peak season even with the free shuttle, delays might irritate you. 2. Breakfast buffet has less options especially for vegetarians. I expected atleast some warm food options like a toasted bread or crepes. Recommend to book it 100%."

"The hotel is located in the very center of Amalfi. Very close to bus station and pier. The room facilities are elegant, clean and tidy. Just outside my room is the square in front of the church. There is no sound after 11pm. All in all, very good. The only drawback is that the breakfast area is a bit small and it is not a buffet breakfast (but the types are the same as those in similar bnb and hotels, namely bread and coffee, but no scrambled eggs and beans)"

The hotel also has a balcony for sunbathing overall I had a great stay and I can’t wait to come back again!"
Hotel Croce di Amalfi
"Hotel claims there are 77 steps. We had 109 steps to get to our room. Staff do not know what a smile is. They are very cold and ignored when I complained the TV does not work. It switches on, but no channels! I informed reception from our first day. I reminded them every day but they never attempted to solve it. They just smirk. Breakfast is very poor. Staff ignore you and you have to literally beg for coffee. Coffee is excellent though. Hotel has an excellent location if you don't mind the steps."

"Although it is far from the coast, the scenery is very beautiful. You can buy some food in the town and have dinner on the balcony. The environment is very quiet, suitable for leisure and long-term vacation."

"Stunning peaceful location ( Salita Monte Fungione) from the bustle of Amalfi. The B&B is beautiful, and staff are extremely attentive and helpful. It offers a lovely selection of breakfast on a terrace to enjoy the seaviews. Our room was clean and a generous size. The bathroom shower was good, especially to wash away the aches of hiking and step walking. The big bonus was the shuttle service to/from Amalfi. This helped to make the most of our short visit (3 nights). Thanks to Nicoletta, Filippo, and Maria for making our stay a memorable and treasured one."
Villa Alba d'Oro - Historic Luxury Villa
"Our stay at Villa Alba D'Oro for our son's wedding could not have been anymore perfect. The staff are all wonderful, and so kind. Alessio quite literally arranged rides, meals, groceries, scooter rentals, hair appointments, dinner and wedding day lunch for the groomsmen. Pictures do not do this villa justice, and the area beyond the pool had been recently updated with an outdoor kitchen and lounge chairs..simply amazing. The tower roof was a favorite for morning stretching and pilates, laundry was available. Each room was lovely and the views down the coast to Amalfi and out to sea were jaw dropping, countless photos were taken. We were a large group with adult children and their partners and we all stayed comfortably in the villa with everyone having plenty of their own space..the layout of the villa for 5 couples was incredible with quiet and privacy for all..simply amazing. The terrace by the pool where we arranged to have a family dinner was beautiful and tranquil and the food prepared by the chef was delicious. We rented the entire Villa for our family for the week of our son's wedding and the stay at this Villa made the weddding week even more special. We would love to return, it was. perfect! "Wonderfully kind staff who genuinely care about the guest experience. Francesco in the bar (and restaurant) is very passionate about service and went out of his way to accommodate. The restaurant has a nice modestly pric3d wine list (great value) with views from the terrace at La Veranda that are to die for - it must be the best kept secret in Amalfi which was just fine to us! Andrea and Salvatore are wonderful managers and have built a wonderful service culture! We highly recommend this gem of a hotel for your stay in Amalfi."

"Absolutely avoid at all costs. Not only was the property in complete disgust the staff are barely in existence except when they come to put the breakfast spread on in the tiny corridors (not worth eating anything!) the shower was rusted and didn’t work complained to staff - nothing was done to rectify. No soap holder, shower leaked through whole room, not even tissues supplied and the worst part was the super old stained towels supplied. I would use them as rags. I paid a ridiculous amount of money for 2 rooms and gifted the other party in our group. I am so embarrassed I stayed there and felt robbed. Nothing good about the property except they have wifi."

"The hotel is a 4-minute walk to Amalfi Beach and a 2-minute walk to the Cathedral. close to tourist attractions You shouldn't bring your car here. You have to drive dangerously through a square full of people, and it is 300m from the hotel to the main building, so you have to bring your luggage and come back to the hotel. They said it was 25 euros for parking in the evening, and they told me to pay 35 euros in the morning. I ended up paying 35 euros. The hotel is on a hill alley, not on the road. You have to climb the narrow stairs with your luggage. The rooms are small and the furniture is old. Compared to the facilities, the Amalfi Hotel is outrageously expensive and outdated. There is no need to stay in expensive and backward accommodations just because it is close to the beach, and bathe in the palm-sized Amalfi Beach full of people. I regret it. There is a reason most tourists take accommodations in Rome and take a day tour of the south."
