I am a travel agent and am writing about my experience when booking before, during and after the clients visit. A reservation was made direct with the hotel. The communication was very difficult on the front end but a reservation was finally made. My clients were extremely unhappy with their room as it was outdated and smelled horribly. The hotel refused to move them to another room even though there were others available. The couple was celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary and as requested, the hotel was not willing to provide them a complimentary glass of wine or beverage upon arrival. Post stay, the hotel has not paid out the commission and has not responded to four emails that were sent inquiring on the status. Although the hotel has wonderful views, the customer service is horrible. I do not recommend booking at this location.
