Amalfi is beautiful. There must be many lovely hotels. Be careful about this one. We were put in a room up under the eaves of the roof. (There are two in the hotel, be aware.) The room is quite large but two-thirds cannot be used. In most of the rooms if you stand upright you will hit your head. And in almost the entire room there is a risk of hitting your head on one of the many many rafters. The bathroom is entirely unsafe. The risk of hitting your head is very great. We suspect that the room violates any reasonably building code. If it is not illegal, at the very least, it is not safe. Avoid this hotel.

Bad experience...we arrived 10 minutes late compared to the check in time and they didn't let us in...saying that we had signed a contract...they never answered the phone again, putting us on the blacklist because they didn't want to listen to reason!
