What a fabulous hotel to stay at in Amalfi. Right on the main street, only a few minutes walk from the port, the room we had was bright and spacious, with a balcony overlooking the town - we could even see a bit of the sea! Breakfasts were really well stocked and all the people in the hotel were so friendly and helpful. Highly recommended! Plus there is a great restaurant just next door owned by the family too...

We had a lovely stay at Residenza Luce. Our room was large, pretty and spotless, with a balcony. Breakfast was served by the lovely Lidia on the roof terrace and the selection of food was great. The owner gave us some really good recommendations and helpful tips about what to see and do during our stay. There are some beautiful walks nearby. We ate twice at the family restaurant, L’Abside.

Vincenzo and his Mother-in-law added to the perfect stay for us in Amalfi. When we arrived in the main square, we were greeter by Vincenzo and his strong help. They grabbed our bags and took them all the way to our room. We were kindly greeted each morning at breakfast. Sorry, don’t recall her name, but was so caring and helpful. Our room was large and very clean. Bed was super comfy, towels extra big. We sat on our balcony each day watching the “craziness “ of Amalfi. Residenza Luce is just a short walk to the water, making it handy to get taxi or bus. Vincenzo recommended two wonderful restaurants for dinner. When we checked out, they he double checked with the driver we arranged to take us to Sorrento. Then he called for his “strong man” to carry our luggge down the hill. Amalfi is beautiful, but we certainly weren’t prepared for the crowds this early in the season. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.
