This hotel has very good value for the price and an interesting, modern concept. Rooms are not too big, but they offer what one needs, staff is friendly and ready to help if there is a need, the place is clean, breakfast buffet offers a nice choice and also during the day there is good choice of snacks or even a meal. WIFI was reliable and there is sufficient opportunity for on to recharge all electronic devices. Location is good to reach downtown in a short bus ride or a not too long walk. Recommend this place.

The room is not big but very clean

I stayed at RumaRuma Farvet Residence on May 19th-28th 2024 with 6 other people and the best part of staying here is the hospitality provided by all the staffs! Ray and Ria from the Front Office did a great job in assisting us. Ray gave us so many informations about places to visit in Ambon, where to do scuba diving in Ambon, what delicacies we have to try, and I almost lost my camera but Ray managed to find it and kept it for me. Ria made sure that we are well informed of our bookings and alerted us if there were potential errors in our reservations as I brought a group of guests. They treated us like an old friend and because of them I would gladly recommend RumaRuma Farvet Residence in Ambon to my friends. Aside of the hospitality, the room is clean and quite spacious for hotels at its rate. Usually, with the budget you spend on RumaRuma, you'll get a small room and even smaller toilets that require you to squeeze yourselves just to shower. I'd recommend you request for high floor room facing to the hilly part of Ambon. I felt like being in Cinqueterre and when the sun sets, I get the gleaming lights of houses on those hills which was too beautiful not to be stared at. Last but not least, you should try their Dori Sambal Matah and Soto Ayam. I could not stop myself from ordering them when I was starving and unable to go out due to the heavy rain in May. RumaRuma Farvet Residence made me feel at home!

This is a comfortable and very well organised place, I stayed twice for 10 days in total, and never had the slightest cause for complaint. The staff are the what really makes it great- all really nice people, super helpful and professional, and many speaking good English, which was brilliant for me.

Great wall artwork and interior design at the lobby and hallway. Small room yet overall good place to stay. Also delicious complimentary breakfast and even the meal options for lunch or dinner at the cafe. The staff are also super friendly.

Many times goes to ambon, this hotel is the BEST hotel so far for 2 stars hotels...the management seems really care about cleanliness, services and guest satisfaction...really recommended and definetely will come back for the next trip, special thanks for the General Manager mr agie, see you soon pak.. really like this place, for those who are first time staying at Ruma Ruma they give good reasons to go back there and stay, good atmosphere, and good services. Thank you to all Staff for providing the best services.
