When I arrived, I was not able to enjoy my stay, as there was some sort of issue, so I was sent to a sister hotel called the Arabesque Hotel. I was thankful that the hotel paid for the taxi. The manager at the Arabesque, Jack, was great! He gave my friend and I good tips on where to go. My friend and I also went on a free 2 hour walking tour that was advertised in the elevator at the Arabesque. The guide was super knowledgeable about the city and very nice. So while my stay at Zaman did not turn out the way I expected, I did have an overall positive experience for my first 2 days in Amman.

Great location, super friendly staff, excellent breakfast! Room was basic but clean, needed somewhere to hang/put your clothes and the cupboard was falling apart! Otherwise would return anytime! Free walking tour of downtown Amman was excellent, Abraham was very knowledgeable and a great guide!

This hotel is very central and opposite the large Roman amphitheatre. It is on a very busy street and parking and driving was not easy, but we found a spot across the road and there is a car park fairly near. Due to the central location it is possible to walk to the citadel, Rainbow street and souks easily. Lots of taxis around to get to other places. The room was basic but clean. The breakfast was traditional and nice, with plenty to eat. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A good budget hotel if you’re looking for a central location with no frills.

I came to this hotel as part of a group trip. The staff are very friendly, especially the kitchen staff. WiFi is available in the reception area but this is different to the WiFi in your room which was very good. The TV is a smart TV with YouTube etc. I shared a twin room which was internal so the window is to the hall way. The room was clean with a little area to hang clothes. The bathroom has a huge shower, but remember water is an issue for Jordan. The best bit about the hotel is breakfast. There is a cold selection of fruit and cake served to your table and then the pre-ordered cooked breakfast. And off the breakfast area is a roof terrace with a view of the Roman Theatre

Stanza confortevole e struttura pulita. Ottima posizione di fronte al teatro romano e comodissima per il centro e per visitare la cittadella. Il personale è gentilissimo e disponibile. Ci hanno fornito assistenza per qualsiasi necessità.

I turned up at the hotel (after a bus journey from Petra ) only to get some excuse from staff about maintenance work in my room!!
Truth is, Zaman have a very old booking system and because of their location and price, get over booked.
I was then sent by Zaman to their 'sister' hotel the Hotel Arabesque, in a completely different area of Amman.
Zaman Ya Zaman, it is 2023!!!! Modernise!!!
Zaman could have contacted me to tell me or cancelled my booking earlier....

We booked this hotel for 3 nights ,we had 1 x 4 sleeper room and 2x double room for 3 nights.
We got to the Hotel at about 1 am as our flight landed at 11pm ,The hotel made some silly excuses saying theres a leak in the room we supposed to check in amd he needs to evacuate the building and sent us off to jordan towers which is non the better in terms of standards though the people treated us kindly etc i eventually had a beautiful stay at this hotel its plain and simple my complain is that if i wanted to book this hotel i could have online and it wouldv saved me 1200zar per night after checking in i went to fight once more alone demanding some sort of refund or atleast the extra cash paid for the booking as now this hotel is a cheaper hotel and i paid 350$ fore 3 nights etc which the hotel refused to refund. I would never recommend this hotel to any1 its hard earned money which i would say they stole. If i could smack some1 it wouldv been that guy imagine all of this drama happening at 1am with ur family getting kicked from pillar To post and after all not refunding the extra paid for being checked into a cheaper hotel .Bad experience it still upsets me 3 days later ...daylight robbery dont book this hotel ...stay at Rafi Hotel iv stayed there plenty of times service is good,rooms are good price is good just never had availability.

Stayed here for a my last night in Jordan :( but no complaints about the hotel at all! Got a single room to myself and it was solid. Bed, clean bathroom inside, and even a small tv. The location itself is just amazing; right in the heart of downtown, opposite the Roman Theatre and a stone’s throw away from King Hussein Street and the Souqs. They offer a value breakfast, and have a fantastic terrace with views of Amman at it’s bustling best. Would highly recommend for location and comfort in stay!

La ubicación es excelente pero alguna persona de recepción deja bastante que desear para estar cara al público. Hablando con el personal del hotel previo a la llegada se habían reservado 4 habitaciones dobles con baño privado. A continuación nos cambian a 1 habitación doble y 1 triple con baño y otra triple sin baño. Nos dicen que nos bajan el precio 35 dinares por esto. Llegamos al hotel y nos piden que paguemos en el momento. Como no tenemos dinares suficientes le decimos que vamos a cambiar y regresamos. Para nuestra sorpresa no nos dejan ver las habitaciones ni dejar las mochilas en ellas, las tenemos que dejar en recepción mientras vamos a cambiar. Cuando volvemos con el dinero el chico de recepción era otro y este nos vuelve a poner el precio con los 35 dinares más, y no sólo eso, sino que además cada vez que calculaba subía o bajaba el precio 10 dinares y nos decía que nos estaba realizando un descuentazo. Le explicábamos que no era el trato pero cada vez se mosqueaba más y acabamos pagando los 35 dinares más. Además de esto, el último día en la ciudad teníamos el vuelo por la noche, por lo que pedimos si podíamos dejar las mochilas en recepción mientras dábamos una vuelta. Nos dijo que tendríamos que pagar una habitación para dejarlas. Le decimos que vale y cuando vamos a hacerlo cambia de opinión de nuevo y dice que está todo lleno y que no podemos. Acabamos en otro hotel dejando las mochilas. No vamos a decir que todo era malo. El desayuno estaba muy bien y la chica que se encargaba de ello era agradable. La situación es muy buena, justo en frente del teatro, aunque esto equivale a tener ruido de coches por la noche. Sinceramente, a pesar de la ubicación y el desayuno no recomendaría este hotel debido al trato ofrecido y la falta de palabra en los precios pactados. Ha sido bastante desagradable.
