Hotel without breakfast, lunch or dinner. Apparently tourist tax still had to be paid... There is not always someone present in the hotel. A lot of noise at night because the hotel is above a cafe. There are also many cafes in the vicinity. A very steep staircase that you can easily fall off. No elevator in the hotel. Little or no information about sights and such... We had a room with one window with a dark curtain in front. The curtain could barely be pulled open. It was also difficult to open the window. The window opened onto a dirty back yard...

The property is located in the center of Amsterdam and from the hotel you can easily reach all points of interest. The rooms are small but suitable for a 3 night stay. Staff courteous and helpful. Only note: at check out you cannot leave your luggage in the structure

Avoid at all costs. The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I emailed the day before booking asking for an early check in or somewhere to store my bags so I could walk around the city as I was arriving at 6am, but the owner said no, and they would not help me before 2pm. I asked could I cancel the booking so I could book somewhere with storage facilities and the owner said no cancellation s and then accused me of bullying. I was very confused and wasn’t sure if it was a joke so I called the hotel number. The manager refused to speak to me and kept hanging up. I’m really not sure how this place is still open but I’m guessing not much repeat business.

Would stay here again, staff very friendly & helpful. Bed was really comfortable and room really clean. Was a bit noisy as we had room on the front and on top of a bar but still didnt stop us from falling asleep. Im a great area to ive stayed in a few hotels around this area before. I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is very centrally located, meaning that everything is within walking distance!
It is a bit old, but that gives the hotel a certain charm!
What was a bit unpleasant: you can hear extremely well when someone goes up or down the stairs in the room! Nevertheless, we would definitely book this accommodation again!

Nice nightlife in the same street. Nice and helpful staff.

The staff were very helpful as we needed to check in after they had left for the day, so we arranged to pick up the cards using the lock box. The room was nice, although if you have any mobility issues, you may find the typical Dutch steep staircases quite hard to navigate. The bathroom door didn't close properly but the staff explained how the old buildings in the area shift a lot and this was why. The AC was a little noisy and you heard footsteps on the stairs but other than that it was quite quiet (except a faint sound of music from nearby bars). For the price I am pleased with the accomodation and really liked the colour schemes and it was fantastic being so close to a town centre by Rembrantplein and plenty of places to go for food and drink nearby. It's also very close to tram links which is very handy.
