Hotel service was okay. I asked for the things I needed, such as a razor, towel, and toothbrush, at the front desk and received them right away.
I usually don't use room service, but rather get it from the front desk when I go out and return.
Also, the young female hotel staff at the front desk smile and accept me when I talk to them about various things.
The facilities seem to be average for the same hotel price range.
I stayed 3 nights at the above hotel. I stayed for 1 night, checked out, then checked back in and stayed for 2 nights. The room for my first one-night stay and the room for my second two-night stay had the same structure, but the latter room had a better feel, perhaps because it received more sunlight.
I didn't eat at the above hotel, so I don't know the quality of the food. This is because I wanted to eat out as much as possible and avoid Western-style meals.

The room is very spacious, the window faces other rooms, and you can see the sky and a little bit of the roof. A**ospheric room. The location is excellent, just opposite the Amsterdam train station. When you walk out, you can reach *** and the downtown area, and the transportation is convenient. There happens to be an art exhibition these days, which is great!

This is my go to hotel in Amsterdam and I've never been unsatisfied in 5 years !
The hotel is in the PERFECT location : everything is from a walking distance , the facilities are really great ( dont forget to try the pool and sauna ) , and the rooms are cool and cozy !
Comparing to other hotels ( same budget / standards ) : I would say , the huge plus , is the room size , and the arty part of the hotel...
What can be enhanced : I think some rooms need to be freshen up ( it's a small detail , but the iron provided in the room , is seamless and does not do anything ) ...
Some other small details are as well to be enhanced ( sweetener / sugar was never re-provided in my room , although I have finished it on the second day ) ... TV system is extremely expensive
