I’ve never stayed at a hotel that has made me so welcome. From check-in to check-out the staff were phenomenal. The rooms were cosy and offered the most amazing amenities and the food offering and overall display, presentation and taste was second to none. I also got to take a look at their new beauty house- I can’t wait to return.

The Pulitzer is a beautiful and comfortable hotel. The staff was amazing…professional, friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was great. Very clean rooms. Great location!!

Room excellent. Staff all helpful. Both restaurants we used were excellent. We would return. 5 Star means 5 Star. We have been spoiled and won't want to settle foe mediocre any more. The front desk was always helpful. Similarly all services we used was of a similar standard.

We spent 4 nights at the Pulitzer. The first two times, a very loud noise (like banging) kept us awake all night. We recorded the noise with our phones and went to report it to the manager. We asked for a change of room. In any other palace we would have been upgraded or compensated in some way; here, we got a quiet room, certainly, but smaller and with less of a view! An apology note was waiting for us in the room, along with a gift: a chocolate bar! We'd also like to point out that we never had turndown service. Maybe there isn't one, which is surprising for a palace. When we left, the hotel had charged us for an international call (which we hadn't made) and for drinks from the minibar, which we hadn't touched! The manager was at the entrance, but didn't say a word to ask if we'd had a good stay or to apologize again. Obviously, there are a lot of tourists in Amsterdam and nobody really cares about the customer. This is not worthy of a 5-star hotel that we were told was the best in Amsterdam. It certainly isn't, or there's something wrong with this city.

The people working in the hotel are so kind. The rooms are cozy and very clean. The hotel is situated near nice shop’s in the 9 Straatjes. I would highly recommend when staying in Amsterdam!

Great position, great restaurants and staff attentive, even too much and too officious, creating an unrelaxed atmosphere. Its for adults really. We were 3 , 2 adults and on one child of 8 years in an ' executive suite' but not big enough, cramped with too few drawers and cupboard space. If I booked again, you require more space than this to be comfortable.

This is an expensive hotel - even for Amsterdam - but lacks a number of the features you would expect in a hotel of this price. The rooms are also small and the public areas are very busy and noisy. However, the location is great - so as long as you are aware that this is what you are paying for, it is fine.
