Nice location, very nice staff, nice breakfast area next to river.
No escalator and thus a problem if you carry lots of luggage or trolley.

If I could give a “0” I would. Our travel agent booked a “deluxe” room. No elevator, steep steps, teeny tiny room, even smaller bathroom, no water pressure, hard to adjust water temp, hard, saggy bed, no storage in room except small wardrobe, 8 inches on each side of bed to maneuver, coverlet barely large enough to cover bed,

Good hotel for the price. The room was an ok size and had what you expect. It was probably in need of redecorating but still in ok condition. Location is good close to the main museum and not far from restaurants. Easy reach of transport. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Great location. The staff was very nice and helpful. Our room was located on the bottom floor on the canal so it felt like we had our own apartment. The bathroom had a very large soaking tub which was a great surprise. My only feedback would be to skip the hotel breakfast as the options were not worth the price’ plus there are great cafes nearby.

Um hotel muito bonito e bem localizado no anel de canais. O nosso quarto tinha uma vista para o canal, facto que nos agradou porque nos sentimos ainda mais no local. É possível visitar os pontos mais importantes a pé. Limpo, no entanto não trocaram as toalhas em 5 dias. No último dia levaram as toalhas de rosto e não deixaram nenhumas em substituição. Funcionários muito simpáticos. Bom pequeno almoço.

This hotel just can be good if the other hotels in Amesterdam are really bad... Room was dirty... The bathtub drain was blocked, it took a long time to take a shower without flooding the room. The people in the hotel dont comunicate eacth other, and they disturb you many times for the same reason....

Location was excellent. Easy walking to museums, trams/trains, restaurants and parks. Pros Booked the suite which was spacious, but street facing, which is quite noisy but it didn't really bother us too much. Happy hour 4-8pm with beer, wine, sodas and snacks supplied free of charge. Outside seating on the canal. Mini bar with complimentary drinks. Good coffee in rooms. Nice breakfast for a charge. Staff helpful. Cons Sloppy housekeeping (didn't service our room the first day). No aircon (but did have a portable fan that we had to connect to outside) - noisy but did the job. Stained furniture and shower floor. No non slip mats in shower and bathroom floor which is a safety issue, especially for older folk. No lift. Very steep stairs (which we could manage) but could be challenging for some. Lovely canal seating, but untidy. Whilst the place grew on us after a few days, I doubt we'd book another stay here. The website does not accurately reflect reality.
