This is about a close as you can get to the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museums. It is located just around the corner from a tram stop that goes to Centraal Station. The staff are very friendly and each person remembered me and my room number every time I came in. The room was clean and comfortable and on a quiet street. I even had a lovely bird outside singing in the tree in the morning.

Everyone has a favorite part of a city. I like those quiet neighborhoods where one can hear the chatter of children on their way to school and the trills of birds rise above the city noise. Hotel Aalders is located in one of these neighborhoods. The location is magical. Ten minute walk to museums, restaurants or extremely high end shopping (think lines at Hermes). Trams are very convenient as is bus 397 (B17 loading site) from Schipol airport. We loved every aspect of this family run hotel and hope we have the opportunity to return.

Excellent choice……great value for this location. Staff was courteous and knowledgeable of destinations around the hotel. Charming place for anyone, especially groups or couples.

Best way to start the day after good breakfast by visiting one of the museums. Very convenient with the tram 2 or 12 to the city centre.

Great location,really nice people,beautiful building,inside out,great neighbourhood's ,very close to the museums,in the heart of Amsterdam,but quite,easy links to the airport.Just clicks every single box.

Staying at Hotel Aalders was pure pleasure! The hotel is a family-run gem: costumer service is excellent, rooms are clean and spacious, and breakfast is great! The hotel is very conveniently located within easy walking distance of the old town, Rijksmuseum, etc. Highly recommended!
