1: Get out of the train station, the navigation shows 1100 meters, and it takes nine minutes to walk. Actually, it takes about 25 minutes! 2: The elevator only goes to the 4th floor. On the 5th floor, you need to carry the box on a steep step, without anyone's help! bad experience

Bel hôtel installé dans un bâtiment de rangée si typique d’Amsterdam, sur un canal, à proximité du centre mais au calme. Concept de petit-déjeuner « partagé » original et convivial. Chambre assez petite mais confortable. Petit souci technique dans notre chambre, mais le personnel nous a immédiatement proposé une solution. C’est quand il y a un problème que l’on reconnaît la qualité du service d’un hôtel. Donc bravo pour cela

Booked two deluxe canal view rooms for a family trip and were very pleased. Excellent beds, really comfortable. Reasonable amount of space. Wonderful canal view. Elevator goes up to 4th floor so no trouble getting our luggage to the rooms. Bathroom snug but nice fittings and full size tub. Everything clean, though the rug in one room was very stained. Breakfast was a nice cold foods selection, good value at 12.5E. Nicely decorated rooms. You might see older photos showing photomurals on the walls, these would appear to be gone now (at least in our rooms), which makes the room classier. I was concerned that the location was a bit far from some areas like the major museums but with the trams and metro you can get anywhere in 15 minutes. Great restaurants nearby, we enjoyed Black and Blue, and De Luwte.

The property was very nice and clean, however the room was narrow and small. So we had 2 suitcases and there was not much space to have them open.
Generallly it is recommended as it is very close to the center and it is a nice cozy place.
