The location was not far from the center, and the room was very clean and stylish. The price was cheap, and the receptionist was very kind and very satisfied.

First of all they dont have a lift so we needed to carry our luggage 3 floors up through narrow stairs. The lamps were shaking during each step of the guests staying in the room above us.
It is not a hotel but a hostel so I don’t recommend it for families.

This was a reasonably solid three-star hotel. We had a quad room on the 3rd floor. Very clean throughout the hotel. Staff was super-friendly and helpful. Location was excellent, a block from Leidseplein and a short walk to the museum district or Vondelpark. No A/C though and the west-facing windows cooked the room in the afternoon making it uncomfortably warm in the evening. Also they had the steepest stairways I've ever seen in a hotel. Not kidding, almost more like a ladder than a stairway. They do offer a breakfast, although we never chose it. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance, but hardly any offering breakfast before 9am. Overall, an OK middle-of-the-road establishment.

Stayed here in a room with 4 beds, beds were a touch small but comfy and we had fans in the room so it was a pleasant stay. Location is great and only a 10-15 min walk from "downtown" but really close to the likes of Hardrock cafe, heinikein experience and places to eat. Staff were friendly and nice bar area with a pool table. Stairs however.......MY GOD they are steep!!! Enjoy them ;)

Een topaccomodatie als je bijvoorbeeld bij de Melkweg moet zijn. Met 5 minuutjes ben je weer terug op je kamer. Verder ligt het in de buurt bij veel winkels en eetgelegenheid en is het over het algemeen heel gezellig in de buurt.
Het enige nadeel - maar uiteraard is het wel kloppend wat de prijs betreft - is dat het vrij gehorig is en dat je de kamer uit moet om te douchen / het toilet te gebruiken. Verder zou ik hier zeker nog eens boeken

Let me start by saying that the hotel was lovely. Great location. Really nice room despite the stairs and shared bath and shower. Delicious breakfast for a reasonable fee. Great walkable location. BUT if you expect to get any sleep, this is NOT the place for you. Literally loud obnoxious people outside the hotel until 5 am. There was no escaping the noise. Which made it impossible to get a good nights sleep. Forewarned is fore armed.

Ein liebevoll durchgängig wie ein Backstage Bereich gestyltes Hotel. Beleuchtet durch eine Trommel oder ein Saxophon. Das Bett eine "transportkiste" und auch der Schrank. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und nett, alles sauber. Das Frühstück ausgezeichnet und reichlich.

Hotel molto particolare arredato tutto in stile "backstage"....La posizione è fantastica, a piedi si raggiunge il centro, la zona dei musei e la fermata del bus da/per l'aeroporto, i pullman passano circa ogni 10 minuti. Ero in vacanza con mia figlia ed abbiamo soggiornato un una stanza all'ultimo piano molto accogliente e luminosa con una parete ricoperta tutta di dischi 33 giri. Il bagno non era enorme ma andava più che bene. Le scale sono ripidissime ma a quanto ho capito è una prerogativa delle case qui.
