Well, the room I booked was completely different from the one we got. They said it was due to a small renovation, but honestly… I’m used to the amenities and hospitality standards in Japan, so overall it felt lacking. I’m not really enjoying the stay as much as I expected. I guess my expectations were too high 🤷🏻♀️ — lesson learned.

Bedroom was small didn’t have 2 beds there was broken wood hanging off the bed with dirty screws hanging out door and the key was broke couldn’t get into room without 2 people opening it
Told the staff about that I found a dirty Syringe
They refused to give my deposit back

Had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was very convenient. Great value for the price. Would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit👍🏻

Amazing service, very helpful! The people working suggested a lot of amazing places to go. It was very clean, no noise and the snack bar was helpful at night! The rooms were so cool too!

Nice location and Everything was clean and perfect. It was cozy and we had a great stay here. We booked again as we love the neighborhood here. It was the best. Near tram station

Not sure how these guys are still in business; our bed had bedbugs, a pretty serious issue. The staff didn’t seem surprised, so apparently it’s a recurring issue. The “room” itself was little more than a bed, just a few feet of standing room at the foot of it. And zero circulation; just a loud fan to move the warm air around. The shared bathroom was weirdly inconsistent (each with a different variety of toilet/shower/sink combination) and the door to it, often propped open, gives everyone at the bar and the cafe a view. The location wasn’t bad: a little outside the centre but a nice area and not far from Vondelpark.

Staffs are very friendly and helpful.
Room is small but it is understandable for the price (Crisis room). Bathroom is very clean and nice.
I recommend this hotel.

Lovely and quiet, relaxed and laid back. Great one up from a hostel especially for couples not wanting bunk beds. Easy to feel at home and great area to return to after bustle of central Amsterdam
