The room was large and comfortable with lots of light. It is very close to the Museum District, with six or seven art museums including the National Gallery of Art, Municipal Museum of Contemporary Art, and the Van Gogh Museum. You can admire classic and avant-garde artworks. There are also luxury streets around, suitable for shopping. In addition, there is a 397 bus to the airport from the station that is a three-minute walk from the hotel. It costs about 4-5 euros to get to the airport. Living here is convenient and affordable, and you can enjoy art to your heart's content.

Hôtel très bien situé pour visiter la ville. Grande Chambre familiale pour 4 personnes. Propre. Personnel serviable et réactif. Les - : petit déjeuner hors de prix (20€ par pers), chambre en sous sol mais donnant quand même sur une cour extérieure donc lumineux et limite la sensation d’être en sous sol.

Reception service was ok, nothing amazing but ok. Room allocated early which was great. Breakfast area and breakfast itself very good. Room looked tired in places mainly carpets and marble effect in bathroom…couldn’t tell if it was dirty or just lime scale ..slept really well every night which is unusual for me, tea and coffee making facilities good. Pleasant atea out the back to sit in. Quiet area of Amsterdam but a15/20 minute walk gets you into the thick of it

The hotel and room require upgrading and are not worth value for your Money. The service we received did not encourage us to stay at this hotel on our next visit. The location is excellent and easy for accessing transportation to Central Station and Dam Square and to supermarkets, restaurants, cafes as well as different museums such Van Goh.

Main light was strobing so could not use other light didnt work but found one that did, otherwise ok left a couple of bits not swept up but comfortable.

Hotel Roemer is in a great location with a convenience store close by, Starbucks, restaurants, and food stores a few blocks away. Very easy to access the tram and just over the bridge you are in the Museum area. The hotel had welcoming staff, clean rooms with comfortable beds. Be aware there are steep steps to the annex building but an elevator once inside. In general, Amsterdam has limited access for those who are handicapped or have mobility issues.
