The hotel was in a perfect location, not too close but not too far. Close to tram stops and Vondel park! The staff were lovely and the rooms were kept very clean.

This hotel was such a great find, so much so that I wish I could keep it a secret! Spacious rooms. Clean. Free coffee. Great location. Great lobby. Pricing was reasonable for the experience. For the tiny rooms in Amsterdam this is huge. We fit 3 of us very comfortably.

Our trip was wonderful. Location of hotel is good, short distance for everything, Vondelpark a few minutes, numerous museums a few minutes, supermarkets short distance in every direction, downtown a few minutes walk. Bus to and from airport, Schiphol, with a 5 minute walk to hotel. Good restaurants within minutes. The hotel lobby was a very good bonus. After a whole day walking around the city, the lobby area was our favortie to sit down for a coffee/drink and play cards. The rooms are not big, but beds are okey and neighbourhood was quiet. This is an old building, a lot of stairs, but an elevator takes you in between the floors. The architect is the same man that designed the Rijks Musem (National Museum) and a few other houses in the neighboorhood. Definetely going there again.

We really enjoyed our stay! The elements we appreciated the most - the hotel was conveniently located to main attractions/transportation lines/conveniences like a grocery store, had a nice outdoor space, and had a lovely coffee machine available 24/7. The staff were fantastic and friendly. We were traveling with 5 people, and this was one of the few hotels that could accomodate us in 1 room. The room was still fairly spacious! Only complaint is our room could use a deep clean. On the surface it was clean (and the important things like bedding were clean), but we noticed dust and build up in the nooks and crannies of the room and bathroom.

Great little hotel in a quiet neighbourhood near all the main museums. Very good breakfast food selection. Staff were very helpful. Comfortable bed and pillows. Hotel has good size, private garden off the dining room as well as a balcony with tables and chairs - unusual in Amsterdam - great for sitting outside with breakfast on a warm day.

Hotel staff lovely, very friendly. Location great, very close to good public transport links to city centre and airport. Unfortunately the room wasn't great - quite dated overall, missing some modern conveniences (e.g. no power sockets next to the bed for charging devices, no in room thermostat), but the main things were 1) the windows which were incredibly draughty and let in almost all of the street noise which disturbed our sleep quite badly, and 2) the shower over the bath which I could not stand up fully in without hitting my head (I'm 185cm)
