I recommend the larger rooms at the back of the hotel. The staff are beyond friendly and helpful. A very walkable location with tons of dining options within a 10min radius.

Hotel is well run and clean but we were given a ridiculously tiny room for two people, not at all as in the photos. Room should at most be considered a small single room at a much lower cost than we had to pay.

Just come back from a lovely 3 night stay at the alp hotel ! The hotel was warm and cosey we was on the 3rd floor room was perfect didt think the stairs was as bad as I was expecting didn’t put me off would definitely return , hotel staff couldt do enough for us , location is brilliant lovely little area , thank u to tahir, Berat & also the cleaner

Amazing hotel 10 minutes from centre on a tram there's a lot close to the hotel cafes coffee shops restaurants supermarket right beside hotel, the staff are very helpful, clean rooms, garden out the back, big balconies in some of the rooms all nalcomt.im others but there's a table and chairs on all of the balconies, hot tub in the bathroom with music lights etc, TV in the room kettle cups glasses and they give clean towels everyday

Joli chambre très propre, calme à l'arrière de l'hôtel avec un balcon. Salle de douche neuve avec tout le nécessaire. Literie très confortable. Boissons chaudes gratuites, très pratique le matin, cappuccino très bon. Tram 13 face à l'hôtel qui vous emmènera en ville, à la gare centrale. Beaucoup de restaurants autour ainsi qu'une boulangerie face au Tram 3. Tram 3 à quelques mètres à l'angle, pour aller au musée Van Gogh ou marché Albert Cuypmark. Réceptionnistes très agréables qui vous donnent une carte de la ville avec tous les renseignements nécessaires. Je vous recommande cet hôtel pour visiter Amsterdam, c'est l'idéal. Attention escalier très très raide pour monter dans les étages.

Not good value. Perhaps other rooms in this facility are roomier? This room fit two single beds in a walled nook and faced the noisy street. Ear plugs were provided! Be careful. Photos are deceptive. Otherwise the room was clean and staff were courteous,

Room was small, but we knew that before we arrived. Didn't think it was quite that small. It was clean. Staff is friendly. I did hear them tell someone to not smoke in the building. Great location. Learn the Tram system and you will be great! They carried my huge heavy bag up two flights of tiny steps. No elevator. I would probably check around elsewhere if I stayed in Amsterdam again, but might go back.

Stayed here for 4 nights after it was recommended by a friend. It's in a fantastic spot, tram stop right outside the door. We booked a triple room with a garden balcony with a view of the garden. It was lovely to be able to sit and relax each evening after the hassle and bustle of sightseeing all day. It's Amsterdam so be prepared for very steep steps and pretty small rooms, but that's the city overall unless you stay in a new building. Our room had everything you need, plus the selection of shower gel etc in the bathroom was brilliant. I have to mention the staff, they're brilliant. One man in particular, didn't get his name, but he checked us in, gave loads of helpful tips about the area, tram times etc, and went that extra mile when we needed to stay an extra night due to a cancelled flight.
