B&B la Festa

In brief, it's a basic room that's priced well for the location but not the quality. Not a bad room but far from the 4-star experience that they advertise. The first photos that appear on TA show a lovely room with a kitchen but the room no longer looks like that. There is no kitchen and the decor now looks haphazard. The double bed is two singles pushed together, without sheets to combine them, so instead of enjoying a romantic getaway we felt like an old couple from the 50s in two separate beds. Towels are aged and thin; no bath mat. No cleaning service or replacement of towels. Nice location, though. And the restaurant of the same name downstairs has a delicious carbonara.

My friend and I stayed at B&B La Festa and Desa was an extremely accommodating host. The room was perfect for us. The location was super close to many attractions and the city life but secluded enough to have a quiet and peaceful evening. We will definitely be coming back and I recommend this place to anyone staying in Amsterdam!

The location is wonderful in the Jordaan, couldn't be better. Everything is within walking distance. We had a double room with a balcony. It was very comfortable and quiet. The room has a TV, fridge, coffee machine, water cooker, coffee machine, and hairdryer. The stairs are quite steep but Desu was very accommodating and carried our luggage up and down on arrival and departure as well as ordered us a taxi.

Booked a single room with a bathroom for the weekend. It's actually more a hotel than a bed and breakfast. The room and bathroom were very clean when I arrived. You get to hear the motor scooter passing in the street, but it's not that annoying. You get a pair of ear plugs. There is a television inside the room with a mini-fridge and an iron. There is no elevator in the building. The location is great and walkable to Amsterdam Central station if you don't have much luggage. Anne Frank House is extremely close. You can only book breakfast at the hotel after you check in and I was told I would have it in my room. It costs €10, but I did not try it. Actually, the owner recommended me to have breakfast in a bakery nearby so I could have it in a better context than inside my room. The bakery actually only did orders for take out...so I went elsewhere both mornings. Oh well... Please note that you cannot store your luggage after check out. I was told I could rent a storage space at the train station.
