The check-in experience is very bad. If you live in a room on the first floor, the room is like in a shaft. When you open the window, you see a wall. There is a strange smell in the corridor. The carpet looks dirty and uncomfortable. The cost performance is really not high. In fact, there are many hotels and apartments around that you can choose. One thing to note is that when you are asked to swipe the tax, you have to see whether it is the room fee or the tax. I have paid the room fee on the platform, but the front desk asked me to pay the room fee again. Fortunately, we took a closer look and told him that the room fee had been paid. The front desk checked for a long time before checking in. The location is very good. The room is quite big in the city center and next to the train station. It looks clean and hygienic, but there is a smell that should be similar to the local laundry detergent in the Netherlands. I don't like it very much. The breakfast is okay anyway, Western style. Very nice hotel, very well located in Amsterdam. The spa room was just perfect and modern. The breakfast is very good. We had a great time.
Just for the price, maybe bring a small bottle of water per person at least on the day of arrival.
