Perfect location, with a subway in front! Super nominate! Attentive and very nice staff, there is a super tasty coffee at the entrance and with a very good atmosphere. The only things that really left something to be desired and that got in the way were: cleaning, which I really found very weak, my room had a very dirty floor and the shared bathrooms were not cleaned frequently. The noise is also very bad, I stayed in a room that is one floor below the ground floor and the noise is unbearable… luckily I arrived very tired, otherwise it would not be possible to sleep

We were very kindly greeted by Ed upon arrival who was very nice to guide us through Amsterdam based on what we had planned. The reception also had a great selection of tea and coffee that was available anytime. Hotel was conveniently located with metro stations nearby and a 20 mins walk from the Jordaan neighbourhood. Overall a pleasant experience!

Absolutely loved our short stay here! Such a cozy room and reception area. We LOVE cats so of course the cat theme and the actual cat that live here was a selling point. There is no lift and the stairs are quite steep but we managed, and we loved our room. The bed was comfortable and our window looked out to the street which was great. It's in a great area that's quieter than the central part but still near a lot of great restaurants and things, and we found it to be easy to walk to where we need or take the tram. Would definitely stay here again!

Really friendly staff, lovely little bar and coffee room where a free coffee machine is available. The room was very clean, nice shower facilities and for us the location was perfect. You can get the 12 or 2 tram directly to the Palace Square or stay local where there are a number of bars and restaurants & coffee shops. Highly recommend this hotel, will definitely go back in future.

Perfect location and great friendly staff.

Cosy hotel on a great location, right in front of a tram stop. Perfectly cleaned, all of the staff were unbelievably helpful, friendly and kind, we could not be more greatful. On the last day they told us we could leave our suitcase and stuff even after we checked out, saved us from so much trouble. The highlight of our stay was waking up in the morning and having our complimentary coffee in the hotel's cafe. And of course, we loved petting cute little Mimi, the hotel's cat! Hotel la Bohème was truly the best decision for our stay in Amsterdam! I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who has trouble going up stairs, they were pretty steep and taking our suitcase upstairs was a bit of a hassle, but so are most buildings in Amsterdam. The rooms were also not very soundproof, but it wasn't much of an issue.

My friend and I spent 2 wonderful nights at Hotel La Boheme. We had room 4 which was on the first floor above the reception area/kitchen (we could smell the croissants and coffee in the morning!) We were told the rooms on that floor had just been renovated. Our room was immaculate and had 2 very comfortable twin beds with a big window that faced the inside courtyard, so it was very quiet. It was chilly outside and the adjustable heat worked well. The hotel's location is fantastic - 5 minute walk to Leidesplein and several tram and bus lines. We walked or took the tram everywhere. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed hanging out in the front room (where you have breakfast) because it was so cozy and faced the street for people watching. The whole hotel feels cozy! Definitely get breakfast - there are several options (including eggs, cheese, croissants, cereal, fruit, etc) As others have noted, there is no elevator but we managed the one flight with our small suitcases just fine. Also Jackie, the resident cat, is very friendly but only allowed in the reception area. So don't worry if (like me) you're allergic - she's not allowed upstairs in rooms. We would have stayed longer but had to move to the hotel my work was paying for during the rest of our stay in Amsterdam :-( I will definitely stay here again next time I visit!
