When I went to the front desk, the person spoke Chinese. The order stated that I should pay an additional 12 euros. After paying 12 euros, I was charged an additional 30 euros. They said it was a tax required by the government, but it was useless to explain. If I have any questions, I should contact Ctrip. At that time, China It was late at night, and I called Ctrip the next day. After many communications, Ctrip said that it was indeed overcharged and directly converted the 30 euros into RMB and refunded it to my account. Therefore, it is useless to have a Chinese person at the front desk who can speak Chinese and has an arrogant attitude; to be honest, the service of the local front desk clerk I met the next day was much better.
Also talking about the room facilities: The entire hotel is extremely small. This may be a common phenomenon in local hotels. The aisles, stairs, and elevators can only be used by one person, which is not convenient for the elderly or children. The four-person room we booked costs 3,100 yuan, which usually costs around 1,000. The price may be higher if booked in August. The price is ridiculous, but the various facilities and services are far from matching the price. I don’t know how it got the 4.6 score on Ctrip.

2nd time in Amsterdam and I have to say omg. Staff was absolutely on another level. I’ve stayed in 100s of places but the staff at Sebastian’s was probably the best of all. Extremely Helpful, amazingly cheerful, from the minute you check in to the second to check out. Hotel staff Dan and Marleni are the best.

Location: While definitely in the center of the city, it's still about a 10 min walk to get to the main central street, Damrak. (Additionally about a 10 min walk to Amsterdam Centraal - so if you have heavy bags, take that into consideration). Also, not any trams / buses in the immediate area. That being said, located in a much more neighborhood (re: quiet) area than a busy tourist / hotel heavy area. If you are a walker, great location. If not, might not be great.
Cleanliness: Some hotels in Europe can be highly rated, but grungy. Everything from the bathrooms, to the rooms, to the hallways were always in order and free of dust and grunge. So much so, my wife actually pointed it out to me within the first 10 minutes.
Service: Hotel staff is located right at the front door and always there with a hello and more than willing to help. We typically have our room cleaned every other day and the housekeeping staff did an awesome job. Didn't use the bar or sit in the eating area as we mostly ate out. Warning, they don't serve breakfast anymore (due to COVID), but will serve to your room if you make arrangements the night before.
Facilities: Overall very well-maintained and clean. The decor is dark colors of purple, red, and black. After the first day, you really don't notice. But color palette is not your typical boring beige on white.

El alojamiento VIP no lo notamos en nada, según información de la reserva, si no recuerdo mal, nos correspondía una bebida por la estancia, pero en ningún momento se nos ofreció. La habitación es bastante pequeña y el baño excesivamente reducido. Pero mereció la pena conocer Amsterdam.

This is my 2nd time staying at this hotel. The single room I stayed in was very small but totally fine for one person. The bathroom and amenities are great. Friendly staff and a great location off the beaten path. Still close to the train station but away from all the high traffic tourist area… cute, quaint and quiet
