Next to the hotel is the Van Gogh Museum, which is very convenient and has an excellent location. The room is also clean and has a coffee machine. But the fly in the oin**ent is that the water heater is difficult to adjust, and the shower head is not good when the water is too hot.

The location is exceptional, otherwise, nothing much to choose or for. Most of the staff are friendly but you get an occasional rude youngster who hate their job. I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights, the receptionist gaslighted me about hot water in the shower, which I didn’t have for 3 days. Brown stained towels should be disposed. I arrived at my room with paper towels floating, not flushed. Drilling and knocking were nonstop all day from 08:30 in the morning on a Saturday.

The advantage is the location: just opposite the Van Gogh Museum, and the neighborhood is safe. Cons: no air conditioning (broken), no apologies or apologies, and arguments that it won't be hot! I had a negative experience at the Van Gogh Hotel in Amsterdam due to the bald, rude, and unfriendly receptionist. The receptionist's lack of professionalism, poor communication skills, and dismissive attitude made our stay at this hotel unpleasant. I would not recommend this establishment to others looking for a pleasant experience. Every time I visit Amsterdam, I always choose this hotel chain, but after this experience at the Van Gogh Hotel, I think we will be looking for other companies for our future vacations.
