We were amazed by this charming little hotel in the Joordan neighborhood, an ideal area for exploring the city on foot. We stayed in the penthouse suite, a very special and romantic attic space, both the room and the common areas are full of charming details that add to other surprises that they give you during your stay and at check out time. All staff were very friendly, going out of their way to accommodate every need. The possibility of having hot drinks at any time, even snacks in the afternoon, is a plus during a time as cold as December, we only wanted to try the breakfast, which looked great and was reasonably priced.

This hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly! Walkable to the nearest tram station, very safe around jordan area.

We booked two rooms for our family at the Mr. Jordaan Hotel. We arrived before check in and were able to leave our luggage stored until our rooms were ready. We were able to freshen up and have a warm drink prior to starting our sightseeing. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating with suggestions and directions. Our rooms were well appointed and beds were comfortable. We opted for the morning breakfast at the hotel and it had a great variety of foods. On check out, we were able to store our bags again until the afternoon. We were gifted a nice bag of snacks to help keep us fed until we arrived at our next destination. I would definitely stay here again when I am back in Amsterdam - top notch place!

Very nice hotel, perched right on a small canal. The rooms are small but are efficient in their design that you don’t notice how small they are. The staff was excellent, steered us to great area restaurants and sights. This area with tiny canals and streets has a great variety of sights and places to eat. It’s what you thought Amsterdam would look like. I would stay here again.
