Sonesta ES Suites Anaheim Resort Area

Close to Disney ! Big rooms and big kitchen the only downside is it’s a little bit rundown but overall good location

First "greeted" by cold, rude staff who were EXTREMELY nice to the person in front of me. Her name was Tatianna, i believe. I was very nice to her the entire time since i work in customer service. I hoped i could win her over with kindness. Nope, didnt work. Only when she saw that i had a disabled lic plate was she nice at all. The AC stopped working completely after the first night. There was an ongoing leak in the lobby. The furniture was damaged in the room. Dishwasher had a leak in the room. TVs were all very dim. Other guests were pernitted to bring electric scooters into their rooms, wear no shoes in the lobby/dinning area, and leave heaps of garbage in the hallways. Our room was right next to the AC machine for the entire building which meant that we heard it run all the time. That part wasnt terrible because we have fans at home. So we tune out that white noise pretty easy. It is just everything else on top of this. Toilet in the room had a very weak flush. We have stayed a few times since i come to LA for work. The two previous times were good. We enjoy the breakfast and it was not this bad when we stayed before at all. I dont see why we would continue to stay here with the horrible woman who worked the counter when we arrived combined with the gross accomodations. The only saving grace experience was the woman who helped me buy some drinks from their convience store and checked me out of this place. Sonesta ES do better.

Pam was exemplary and catered to our needs. This was not our first trip to Anaheim but was our first to sonesta. The breakfast was wonderful! The hotel was clean and look very well maintained. We will be returning to this property. Thanks Pam!

Room was a bit rough. Repairs needed to be done to shower and furniture beat up

It was a great place to stay and the continental breakfast was just another positive they added at this hotel.

The earlier reviews helped make our decision to stay at this hotel however we were very disappointed. The room was dirty when we arrived, there was dust so thick on the dresser in the bedroom that it left handprints. There was blood on the sheets on one of the beds, the fridge was leaking, we had to clean the room ourselves. The pool area had a pile of bird faces the whole 5 nights we stayed at the hotel, the pool chairs were so dirty it made your clothes dirty and there was garbage in the stairwell that was not cleaned until night 5 of our stay. We were disgusted with our room/hotel and if we hadn't prepaid we would have changed hotels the moment we checked in.

Our three day stay would’ve been more pleasant except for the following: 1) upon check-in, we were told that the rooms were cleaned every other day when we requested our room to be cleaned after the second night we were told that rooms are only cleaned after five or six nights 2)the kitchen was not adequately stocked we didn’t have enough utensils for eating utensils and glassware to drink out 3) there was no sauce pan or skillet in the kitchen and I when I called the front desk to request a pot I was first told it wasn’t going happen, then when I brought down the steamer, which was the only cooking utensil then they were willing to give us pots 4) there’s no fan in the bathroom which turns the bathroom into a sauna every time anyone wants to shower 5) the breakfast eggs and potatoes were cold and watery also the bagels were hard and the yogurt was served in an open platter and usually the hotels will have yogurts in individual cups, but there wasn’t sufficient utensils for some of the food when you needed to serve yourself.

Carpet is old appliance is old and updated furniture of an. I'll date it. You can tell this. Hotel is old and needs new furnishing remodely
