We had booked as a fall-back since our initially booked hotel The Walnut Tree refused to accommodate our dates and did not refund our money either. But we were pleasantly surprised with the standards and we got full value of money. Recommended surely.

Great location neat and clean room with mountain views delicious food. Highly recommend for all type of traveller . This place have easy excess to local sightseeing of Pahalgam They also arrange of all kind of adventures like hiking rafting paragliding etc

I was Lucky to find Brown Palace online which was matching my tast like to stay from all crowds of busy pahalgam twon . The location was great accommodation was outstanding newly bulid premium rooms with centrally heating the food was fresh delicious and always fresh cooked. The staff was so much helpful they can arrange your requirements just in minutes. I highly recommend this cosy place to every kind of traveller. My heartful thank to all staff and owner for making my stay a memorable one.

The hotel ***ager is disrespectful and careless. He closed his hotel and the phone after 11PM and I had to sleep outside and you know the weather in pahalgam? He claims simply that this not a 5star hotel on the next day.. we booked this hotel through MakeMyTrip application and looks like they care for Hotelier than the customer. Their approach towards solving this issue quite disappointing and I never suggest you to book this hotel or book hotels through MakeMyTrip. I had 2 questions which no one answered; 1. What happens if I fall on sick? Hotel closed and ***agers phone closed. No ambulance service or anyone can come in! 2. Whatever the rule it is, can the ***ager close his phone and hotel and keep the customer to sleep outside in a such cold weather?

The hospitality provided by the hotel cannot be expressed in words. Food was awesome and as per the choice. Best part was that the owner Mr. Ibrahim was himself involved in looking after the guests.

Beautiful place with apple orchard in the backyard. Hotel staff helped us to plan sightseeing and all the arrangements were taken care by them very well. Variety of veg and non veg food made by the chef including yakhini. Exceptional service provided by hotel staff, they accommodated all the requests made by us. Staff was very courteous and polite.

Myself I'm nihar doctor by profession love to travel.One of the best places to stay in pahalgam. prime location surrounded by big mountains situated by river side. I recommend those who love trekking must visit place.Near by places from brown palace ABC (AURA VALLEY, BETHAB VALLEY, CHANDANWARI STARTING POINT OF AMARNATH YATRA) COMING TO STAY comfortable bed rooms with mountain view and especially food amazing taste. Ibrahim the host words fall short to describe him I felt like he is like my big brother thq for hosting us, he takes good care treats like family. I felt like second home staying there very safe.staff well behaved and good hospitality. It is completely safe place to visit what you see in news is completely opposite once if u visit you will change your opinion my second visit to Kashmir I stayed of 6 days 5 nights with total 20 friends.

Staying at Brown Palace was one of the bestest decisions I had taken in June 2023. I was on a solo trip and it was impromptu. I was skeptical about the stay as a solo traveller, especially a wo***! But did it turn out to be one of the beautiful experiences in my life?! Hell yeah!! Ibrahim Bhai is the owner of this quaint and beautiful property on the banks of Lidder. He is a gem! He took care of me like family. From food to places to history, you just have to ask and he would be more than happy to help with it. He knows about a lot of unexplored places for people who don't wanna see the usual crowded mainstream attractions in Pahalgam. Trust me, you are gonna love these places. Brown Palace is an old property since 1970's. You can dig into old albums and handwritten notes from the 70's and 80's from people all over the world, which can be found in Ibrahim Bhai's office. Being a solo wo*** traveller, I can vouch for this place. You would not only be safe but also be taken care of like family. Go ahead and book them already! I am happy and content!

The owner was extremely rude and showing callous attitude towards customers. ***y customers felt issues due to non availability of water all throughout the night, with no staff available to sort out the matter. The electricity supply was intermittent and staff was reluctant to use backup generator citing reasons that diesel is not adequate. Room heater and bed heater were not working despite extremely cold weather conditions during night time. No regular room cleanup was done, and staff had to be reminded again and again for adhering to basic tenets of hospitality. Towels were not replaced citing that clean ones have not been received from laundry. On the contrary, the owner and staff tried to imply that towel was soiled by us, despite the fact that it was lying on bathroom floor for almost 2 days and the staff coming in with soiled shoes thrice in the washroom upon request to sort out issues related to geyser and water supply. Overall one of the worst experience as a tourist and customer. The same sentiments were echoed by other customers staying at the same Property during the same time. Moreover the property was under major repairs, making undue noise and unhygienic conditions in the corridors, next to rooms. Inadequate number of blankets was yet another issue faced by customers, especially travelling with their kids. The apathy and callous attitude towards customers was just uncanny. Will advise everyone considering to Stay at the property 10 times before they procede with their booking.
