Dolce by Wyndham Athens Attica Riviera

Artemida|4.5km from city centre
I recently stayed at this hotel for an extended period of time (16 days) for work. Overall, I'd stay at this hotel again if I wanted a secluded vacation where I just chill on the premises. I'll start with Pros: 1) The view - absolutely amazing!!!! Book a room with a sea view. 2) The workers were so nice! Themos, Alexandra, Sara, Vaggelis, Chistophos, and others whose name I can't remember (just the entire staff that worked September 10th - 26th) made me feel so at home! 3) Impressive Aegeo Spa at the Dolce Athens Attica Riviera. Yiannis and Frosina - the managers of the front desk - were very courteous, professional, and informative. They kindly explained every question I had about the different types of spa offerings. I received two amazing massages from Sofia (deep tissue) and Lena (eye massage). The prices are very reasonable for such an upscale venue. Be sure to schedule time to hang out in the heated saltwater pool afterwards; it's absolutely amazing! 4) The food - plenty of delicious choices. My favorite place was The Secret Restaurant by the pool. Great prices for a hearty food portion. 5) Direct access to the Aegean Sea - can't beat that. 6) Outdoor pool is beautiful. 7) There are chill areas in the main area of the hotel where you can read, play pool or other games, and eat free fruit. 8) They have free phone charging station behind the front desk (thank goodness because I left my charger on the plane)! 9) Outdoors you have the option of water sports. The cons: 1) The hotel and its decor are dated. Could use some renovation. 2) Can't reach the hotel without a car or taxi. And you need a car just to visit nearby tourist areas. It would be nice if the hotel had some type of shuttle arrangement for nearby tourist areas. 3) The gift shop is sp**** (but the worker was very nice!) 4) The music was very Westernized. I would have preferred to hear samplings of Greek music (afterall, I'm in Greece!)

The Front desk clerk on duty the evening of July 16, 2023 was a complete fraud and clown. he tried to give me a regular room and insisted it was a suite. He should be terminated for incompetence. I demanded to see more rooms until I was given the room I paid for and advertised on their website. It took him an additional 15 minutes to register my reservation information and produce a room key, even though I completed a pre registration form a week earlier and prepaid the entire stay months in advance. Who wants to wait 15 minutes for a key card? This entire process took 30 minutes between the key and viewing rooms. Unacceptable!! The Divani Apollon Suites is a completely independent entity from Divani Apollon Palace & Thalasso Hotel. Although front desk staff clearly stated we had use of the facilities next door, the staff at the Palace demanded fees for use of any facilities. €70 for pool lounge chairs per day. Comically, our room contains a folio outlining services for the sister Palace hotel...completely misleading and down right fraudulent. Service and attitude from the restaurant staff was cold, at best at the breakfast buffet. We never saw the restaurant open for dinner ad they claim. The new pool area is more of a reflecting/design pool and not a swimming pool. The sun doesn't hit the pool until after 2pm. A total of 4 lounge chairs are available. Room appointments are at least 10-12 years old. Hardwood floors are dingy and dirty looking and furnishings are old. There are no ocean views, although the suites pictured on their website show an ocean outside the balcony door.. The lobby area is clean and somewhat inviting, and the outside areas in front of the hotel are clean and orderly. Needless to say, we checked out after two days. I would suggest you stay elsewhere.

Acharnes Anatoliki Attiki
I had a double room with my boyfriend and my mom had a seperate room with her friend. Our room was definitely not 4 stars as stated. When toilet was flushed it would leak onto to the floor. Ceiling was unfinished just wooden beams and a big hole above where they left it unfinished. From this you could hear the elevator moving up and down and clanging all the time as we were next to the lift and it located in that hole i’ll insert a photo of what i mean by hole. Also because of that the room next door when they used their bathroom we could hear it really clearly as if they were in our room. TV in the room but not working. Mini fridge also included which was working so that was good but in my moms room their mini fridge was warm. Air conditioning in the room was working and was great. In my moms room also when taking a shower the water would go down the drain and rise from another drain in the bathroom located across from the bath and flood the bathroom floor. The bed was a nice big size i would say a queen bed it was comfortable enough since we spent all day walking everyday but no mattress protector or anything under the sheets and we’re given a sheet as a duvet. Also they ask you to leave your key every time u leave the hotel i’m assuming so the room can be cleaned but we stayed for 5 days and it wasn’t cleaned once. Frequently water would turn off also and wouldn’t be able to shower but no explanation given or warning. Breakfast was okay just the basics hard boiled eggs, bread, ham and cheese and some yogurt and cereal selection there was also a coffee machine and orange juice

Varaba Country House

From the beginning, Briefly describe the journey: Couples travel freely, come to Europe to play, and visit Greece by the way. There is a five-hour time difference. Let's 12 o'clock noon and 7 o'clock in the morning in Greece. Stayed at the beach for three days in the first four days, and went to Santorini for one day in the middle. In the evening of the fifth day, go to Marco Polo at Walaba Homestay, It was dark after seven o'clock in the evening, and the taxi was walking along the dirt road, and there was a large herd of goats. The darkness and lights in front of a hut in the introduction picture were a bit desolate and terrifying. Taxi to the airport is 15 Euros, and the store can pick you up (12 Euros). The girl who opened the door was a very quiet and beautiful young Greek girl. She entered and saw a large courtyard. Then she entered a lobby house with modern and casual layout. Then she entered the straight-wing room with a glass roofed courtyard. A guest was eating. , I entered the room directly. I read the reservation number and didn’t even look at my passport. The big bed was 1.5 meters under the room. There was a loft (two beds) on the wooden stairs, except for slippers and dental appliances, and four bottles of water. Two doors lead to the outside yard. I did not order a meal. The couple ordered a light meal (arranged by the store), a large bottle of ice water, a small plate of salty cheese, a bowl of fennel and roll salad, a plate of toasted bread sticks, and another pot of homemade The taste of wine (about one catty) is orthodox. For dinner, one plate of red pepper and vegetable puree, one plate of tomato (potatoes have minced meat,,,,), the amount is not large, after drinking two pots of wine, two people took the second The daily breakfast is 32 Euros, an average of 8 Euros per person per meal. The price is not expensive compared to the local price, the taste is orthodox, and it feels okay. I didn't have anything to do at night. I went to bed more than ten o'clock early, and I slept very comfortably. I got up early in the morning and got out of the yard. I suddenly found a charming world! ! ! I don’t know if you have seen the movie ”Walk in the Clouds”. The scenery there is very similar! The yard is divided into front and back, two rows in front and back of the house, connecting the wing house in the middle, there are about six or seven rooms,,,, The boss is a middle-aged woman, very kind... There is a small church in front of the house, and the Athens airport is in the distance. During the day, the sound has little effect. I just wake up in the morning and feel the noise. In the evening, the sound is gone by ten o'clock. In the morning, the sound of the plane is gone. Quiet and relaxing! Don't talk about the picture! ! ! !

Renoved room (32) just a few years ago: average but functional size, clean, beautiful big shower with several types of water jets. Good littery. Small terrace. Friendly staff and prompt to give information if necessary. The hotel is located along a large road which makes it quite noisy: you need to provide earlocks (it is the negative point) Ideal location in front of a beautiful sandy beach with bars, tram station and, therefore, 5 min from Glyfadas with restaurants and shops, 2 streets far from the hotel in front of the cake hospital, one street far from a shopping center then a park, ... and for those who have to go to the airport: just in front of the bus stop X96 (attention: buy at the tram stop machine) We paid 155€ via B for 3 nights: excellent quality-price ratio; in season, it is logically cheaper;))

We booked the appartment due to its proximity to the airport. We were blown away by the beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean appartment. A real gem. Restaurants only a walk away plus a supermarket even closer. Very happy with our choice. It would make a good base for longer stays
Vincci EverEden Beach Resort

Breakfast and dinner are normal The waiter sometimes really goes somewhere Nice room, clean and comfortable bed The swimming pool is huge and there is another indoor Cross the beach on the crosswalk We provided free breakfast, maybe we arrived early But with the later development of complexity, maybe many people leave, the room is not extended, you can only take a bath in the sauna, and they want more than just a shower Someone celebrated something, and the swimming pool closed earlier to provide special services. The swimming pool will be cleaned up an hour after opening, you have to wait But the overall cost of the weekend is okay
Artemis GreenHill

Although a bit hard to find in the village (tip: don't use a GPS but Google Maps instead) we found it, of course on a hill ;o). We were helped by the owner of the small OK supermarket next to the main road. We arrived late in the evening so we could not see the surroundings. But the next morning we were pleasantly suprised. It is quiet, except for a few barking dogs. Very lovely, helpful and friendly owners, breakfast is simple and more then OK. The appartment has a communal living/breakfast room and a fully equipped kitchen with free thea and coffee supplies. Privacy enough. The room and bathroom were clean.
