We recently enjoyed a delightful stay at this hotel in the heart of Anchorage. One of the highlights was our room, which offered stunning views of the city skyline at sunset. It was the perfect spot to unwind with a cocktail and soak in the atmosphere after our train ride from Seward. The hotel's location was also unbeatable, with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. We appreciated being able to easily explore the city without having to travel far. Overall, our experience at this hotel was excellent, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay in the city.

The bed was comfortable and the shower nice and warm, that's where the positives end. The hotel itself smelt awful, a combination of over the top perfumed air freshener and mould. Our room was similar - stale and musty. There was no kettle or safe in the room, plastic disposable coffee cups complete with individual plastic wrappings are an environmental nightmare (what ever happened to crockery?). The staff were blase and unhelpful expecially when requesting a dietary preference for breakfast; the server provided us with gluten free toast and cookies and not much else! However the porter was very helpful when we were storing our luggage and accessing again before our flight. Will not recommend this hotel to anyone and have also advised Viking tours about the above issues so they can reconsider their choice.

Located in the Downtown section of Anchorage this hotel provided good facilities, good front of house staff, spacious rooms and a good place to dine in their restaurant . Easy walking around the area and having a look at the sights including the water front, museum and cafes. Top place to stay and is recommended.

We love staying at Marriot as the beds are comfortable and the bedding is luxurious. This is a great location to lay over if you are heading out of Anchorage airport. The hotel is beautiful and the staff is friendly. Thank you for another great lay over.

The hotel is amazing but the staff is even better! So freindly, helpful, and seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The bar and bar staff were the absolute best! All around it was a great experience and I can't wait to go back!

This was our family's first visit to Anchorage. Everyone at this hotel was professional and personable. We were so welcomed and treated like family. There are great places to eat within walking distance. Will definitely stay there again on our next trip.

This hotel made for a great start to my Alaska cruise adventure! Hotel in a perfect location for everything there is to do in the area. The rooms are modern, clean and well-maintained. But most importantly, the staff is very welcoming, and the service was great . I look forward to my next visit!

Amazing view from our room, very comfortable set up and excellent staff that were always friendly and helpful! We enjoyed the lounge access with a wonderful variety of breakfast foods and snacks/drinks. Would definitely recommend to others.
