The room is small, but equipped with everything, including a refrigerator and a full kitchen in the lobby. The parking lot is large and free. Good service attitude. An inn decorated with local characteristics and very close to the airport

Inexpensive hotel with super-friendly staff and pleasantly unique rooms. One night we had private bath and shower, last day we had a shared bathroom. Both were comfortable, absolutely loved the shower head from the ceiling! Felt like being in a waterfall ❤️ Would definitely book again

I have stayed in the “best” hotels in Anchorage ( Captain Cook, Marriott, Millennium, etc.), but I enjoyed this unique, quirky, clean and authentic Alaskan motel more than any other lodging. The staff was welcoming and genuinely interested in making my stay pleasant. Thank you to all who run this establishment.

I felt right at home think rustic. If your tired of the corporate cookie cutter rooms this is the place for you. You have pizza across the street convince store right down the street for snacks. Wally World 10 minutes away on foot. If saving a few bucks is your priority give it look. I will be returning in the future.

We saw the good review and decent price. The room photos looked good. Arrived at the hotel and instantly saw it was run down . The room we got faced the street and was very noisy. The hotel manager had to tell the very unsavory people hanging outside our room to move so we could access it. The room looked clean but the floor was sticky. We had to hunt for a usable outlet to plug in a charger. The room had no airflow and was heated by two plug in space heaters ( that we had to unplug to use the working plug) . You had to choose between having a heater, or a lamp , or charging your device. The beds were very uncomfortable. The tv and refrigerator worked. The sink was outside of the bathroom in the main room. The bathroom looked clean and was decent sized. The room door was split at the hing line and the hinges were moved, this is very typical damage from a forced entry. The door shower damage at the jam and striker plate area as well. We did not feel comfortable that we were safe there. This place has bad news written all over it. Do not fall for the good ratings this is not a place that you want to stay in and at the price they are charging ( non refundable) is completely unacceptable. We ended up eating the cost of a three night stay and changed hotels immediately.

I stayed here for one night before a long flight down to Utah. It was great to have a clean bed and functioning TV, as well as snacks left out for the guests. However, that is about where my enjoyment stops. The common areas were very worn and had damaged walls and the floors were dirty and moved under you - like water damaged wood. Other than the bed, the room had a beg problem with cleanliness. The floor had a grimy feel, as if they'd not swept or mopped it in some time, and the nightstands and vanity had a sticky feel to them as well as cigarette marks even though the room was supposed to be smoke free. As a young female solo traveler, there were several instances where I felt unsafe in the location - if you are also a young solo traveler, I do not recommend this spot. You really feel that lower price tag. In the morning, I had to wait a full half hour in the lobby to check out, because the owner was having an extended conversation (small talk from what I heard) with an employee. This wouldn't be a problem usually, but I had a cab I needed to catch, and the driver was getting impatient. If these are all acceptable things for you, then I think you'd have a great time at a quirky, unique space - it is just very much not for me.
