This is our first time to Alaska. When I searched for hotel, I saw Aviator hotel was remodeling. I didn’t know what to expect. It has turned out to be the best first impression of Alaska. The room is clean and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Chloe is outstanding in taking care of every request. If we come back again to Anchorage, I will definitely consider staying in Aviator hotel again.

5 Excellent accommodation! The staff person, Alisha, was amazing. She was so helpful. Alisha did everything she could do to assist us. You have an amazing staff person in her. The room was beautiful and had almost everything you could need in it.

Nice hotel! Rooms are big with a sofa and chair. Alycia and Harry (and Chloe too) were so warm and accommodating! Pantry food is free, you can get water, tea, coffee, and some snacks. The hotel is near the visitor information center and 5th avenue mall

The property is incredible and the staff is amazing. My only issue was with the homeless population in the neighborhood. I had to be very careful and avoid some fights while I was walking. To be fair, it was the off season, maybe peak season would be different.

Don’t let the construction fool you-this place is great! It’s still very much a work in progress, but the areas that are available are really good. The staff is incredibly friendly & professional. They were so welcoming & helpful. We were booked on the 2nd floor, since the upper floors are still under construction & we thought the room was very cute & extremely comfortable. It’s got a retro look with plenty of space to hang out in the room. The lobby area has seating & provided free continental breakfast & snacks/drinks all day. The area is very walkable with plenty of restaurants, bars & shopping nearby. This place is gonna be incredible when they’re finished with the hotel & brewery. We definitely plan to return the next time we’re in Anchorage

This hotel is a scam. It may be under new ownership but they hired to have a really nice website made and spent time removing reviews. If you look up this hotel by address you will find that it is used by the city of Anchorage as a homeless shelter. It still looks like a homeless shelter, we booked this in advance and showed up at 11pm and thought our GPS was wrong so we drove around the block 3 times looking for the place. It's an absolute dump with no signage and people shooting up on the side of the building, don't be fooled by the new website, perceived discounts, or anything like that, a motel 6 has more class than this place. Besides the news article of the place talking about using it as a homeless shelter, the only other reviews we could find were from 4 years ago showing all the bed bugs.
